That is a good team IMHO, Thomas in for Barton at DM, with AB and JF fighting it out for AMC.
Moussa's best position for us is LM easy.

Bottom 6 at best as the team would score very few goals. Also with lightweights like Fleck and Barton it would be hopelessly outfought in midfield.
Anyone who seriously thinks McDonald can play upfront on his own is seriously deluded I am afraid.
McDonald is garbage.

Robins I suspect actually now considers O Donovan as a better choice. I would be surprised if McDonald is here after January providing we find someone to take him.
If he does play there is no way he can be on his own. He has no strength, is very poor at bringing players into the game and lacks pace. He has been a huge disappointment and why some fans still back him defies any evidence or logic.

IMO, he could do a job, but I'm not sure if he can do it on his own, I rate him, better than Ball, Elliott, ROD etc. but he needs to be given chances, which cannot be guaranteed whereas McG can create a chance on his own - and score. Cody IMO, is a L1 standard Javier Hernandez.

Probably the second team.
That does not mean the first team are not a very good team, it just means the second team are better. Mainly in my opinion because of DMC.
However I don't think the first team would have lost those games with the off field crap going on.

That team would lose more than it wins. Barton as a holding midfielder is not an attractive prospect and we would struggle to average one goal a game.
