Because the agreement is with CCFC.....
Why would it be any different then to having CCFC playing at the BPA and having a joint venture with CCFC?
It wouldn't, that's the thing.
Yeah, so why say it then? When he's already got a deal with the club?
He said SISU... He is working with CCFC.
Also Sharp
Nail - head - hitThere is no game in town other than the Ricoh and I don't believe there is a game in any other town. The answer is simple drop JR2 or go and play at Sowe Common or the Memorial Park. This is the straw that's going to break the camels back but whose back our clubs or sisu?
So if there is sufficient demand to hold a party in your street...the organiser decides it is going to be in your front room. You say "No way"...it's all your fault when the party goers are looking for someone to blame!?And is that not reasonable? ( not a pun honest )
And then you moan when they hold the party somewhere else about how wrong it is etc etc.So if there is sufficient demand to hold a party in your street...the organiser decides it is going to be in your front room. You say "No way"...it's all your fault!?
...onwards & upwards PUSB
Frankly I believe 6K with expansion possible to 9K is more realistic, why does Cov need any more, they are not going to eclipse Wasps? All those that didn't believe about Jon Sharpe not allowing more than 12k capacity might finally believe it.
Perhaps when Mr Sharp mentioned an artificial pitch he meant one like Wasps put down at the Ricoh.
Why would CRFC provide the facilities and only take 50% of the profits?Depends on the figures surely. 50% of £5 is better than 100% of £1.
Why would wasps? Why would CRFC provide the facilities and only take 50% of the profits?
So many disconnects here.
Why would wasps?
Because they need our rent money and CCFC at the Ricoh for naming rights. Why would wasps?
Punctuate, please. What would be in any deal for other investors in the stadium and even if there was they would still have to deal with our owners somewhere along the line(something I would,t). The club would still not own anything CCRFC (Sharp) would have the final say .Non starter for me .The owner have to go ever avenue they have had has or is being closed. Bite the bullet drop the legals and get down to meaningful talks with Wasps
Ask him:Why would you need investors to rent somewhere.
Surely proof he is dealing with CCFC ?I'm a bit confused about him saying he'll never deal with SISU but they agreed to have us run a ticket office from the BPA?
Coventry City have already taken part in preliminary discussions and have set a three-point remit in notifying the MP they are calling for “active not passive support from Coventry City Council” regarding…
It is understood the Football League, Coventry City Council, and the football club’s parent company Sisu have agreed to take part in the process.
- “Putting Coventry City front and centre-stage in the community.”
- A future stadium solution for the football club, with the club’s preferred option remaining a return to an inner-city home at an expanded Butts Park Arena, groundsharing with Coventry rugby club in a stadium of potentially 15,000 to 25,000 capacity.
- A future home for the club’s ‘lifeblood’ youth academy, with one potential aim of relocating it next to a new training facility.
Can someone please clear this up for me.
What do CCFC have to enter mediation talks with CCC for?
Yes I know there is a legal dispute with CCC about the Ricoh, but that's got nothing to do with CCFC now saying they want to ground share at the BPA.
Because Duggins has said he would not deal with CCFC while legals are on
Therefore they are an affected party by association and therefore should be able to add their twopennyworth
Surely proof he is dealing with CCFC ?
Ask him:
This for starters and then you have the build cost on top of that. Hows that going to be funded? Where's the split in sharing that cost? Where is our share going to come from? Tim says his has the investors in place are these investors outside of SISU? If so why do we need SISU again?
Will it happen, no chance. Sisu won't invest millions which will takes decades to recover. They want out not a deeper commitment.
A desk in the corner of an office is different to a stadium.
