He is categorising things. He can see the things he only has to deal with the club for - rent of a little space on very short term basis that can be approved only by Boddy or Fisher against long term commitments that require the close involvement of SISU. Which is why there is no conflict in what he is doing, or any real connection to a full time tenancy at BPA for CCFC. He understands who can give approval on what
That's the thing, people will say the FL should insist we play at the Ricoh but that doesn't work. Wasps can just say no or they can say we want £1m a season. If they know we have no other option we're screwed.
Lets say they do and its you in charge and not Tim Fisher what do you do?
Wasps say they won't even talk with you unless SISU, who you have no power over, stop legal action against CCC.
CRFC say they are keen to help but not while legal action is ongoing which as before you have no power over.
What other options are there in the city?
As much as we all hate SISU and what they have done to the club at this point, IMO, we have to put the club first. Having the club still playing in the city is the most important thing to me and if that means a short term shift of focus to pressure Wasps and CCC then that's what we should do.
I don't want to be sat here this time next year wondering how the hell we've ended up at Sixfields or god knows where else it might be.
kinhell , time is really dragging.September 2015 it opened, just over 2 years by a few days.
Coventry City's new non-matchday ticket office at Butts Park Arena is now open! - News - Coventry City
Still SISU, still Fisher, still legal cases etc.
Realistically what choice would the FL have if the Ricoh and Butts aren't options? They either let the club move temporarily again or they kick us out of the FL.So the thought is they will be allowed to take the club out of the city again even if the FL allowed it I think the government would start to put more pressure on them to get their house in order .

That's not the point I'm trying to make though is it? If he can deal with CCFC and not SISU then they obviously aren't the same thing are they which is what the first 2 posts in this thread tried to push?
He can't deal with SISU on the ground share because they are suing the council.
He says it's because they are suing the council.
The article is about dealing with SISU on the ground share. His quotes are about dealing with SISU on the ground share.
He has not said he can't do any business with SISU on anything he is talking about the ground share.
It's a real worry. What can the FL do? Really? They could chuck us out of the league and that would be that.I sometimes wonder if that's what some people really want.

To be honest if I was involved on the decision on the FL side (and didn't have any connection to Cov) it would be very tempting to just say kick them out and that's the end of the problem.
We're in L2 playing in an empty stadium, sure there would be a few articles when it happened but would anyone outside of Cov really be that fussed?
True - the FL probably need to ensure the actual clubs own their ground. No idea if that is practical or achievable. It would open up the floodgates for stadium owners though, imagine if the Port Vale owner managed to sell the club but still owned the stadium and then said "OK I want £10m a year otherwise you have to move out and you know the FL will just kick you out of the league they did Coventry".
They would have to make decisions on how much it opens them up from other things too I think.

Chief Dave is right - Cov are now a nuisance for the FL who must privately wish we were gone.
Which is why I am saying it isn't made very clear and that's quite clear the view it's giving to people.... BHSB started a new thread just with the quote about CCFC and SISU being the same thing, so you can tell that out of the whole article that's what he took from it.
The way it is worded is pretty obvious, hence 2 people felt the need out of the whole article to just focus on that as soon as they read it.

SISU are not CCFC. One day they will go and CCFC will still be there (even if we are an amateur outfit by then)
However if you are doing business with CCFC by proxy because they own CCFC and still make all the big decisions regarding CCFC. You are doing business with SISU.
The issue here is the bullshit legal action and I am surprised it doesn't get more heat on here from fans.
I am even more gobsmacked some fans even encouraged and and argue that it should continue.
Nothing like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
It reminds a bit when people say fans are happy for the club to be hurt as long as it sticks one up SISU.
Lol
You can protest against Wasps, CCC, CRFC & Football league it won't make any difference to the outcome, or influence Joy's decisions.
Because the only decision maker regarding CCFC is Joy. If Joy like last time decides to take the club out of Coventry she will.
CCFC wasn't forced out of Coventry last time and it will be the same again.
She also knows the sheep on here will follow like last time because they believe they are only dealing with CCFC!
I don't have any answers to our clubs predicament and probably like the rest of us run out of ideas long ago. Whatever Joy's plans are have to run their course and hope we still have a club at the end of it.
I'm currently not in favour of a match boycotts and protests, i have been in the past. Past protests were worth it as they raised the profile of our plight.
If Joy decides to take us out of Coventry again though this would require a 100% boycott to nip it in the bud as early as possible.

Another one what ?
If you had read the thread you would know exactly what I meant.
Maybe you are discriminating against Coventry fans with a differing opinion from yourself?
You mean the penny that we're homeless next year? The penny still hasn't dropped for some!

Hows the stadium plans going?
Pointless asking you because you never respond, showing us what the true c**t that you are...
In supporting your club you are categorized as "sheep"? Surely the desire of any fan is to ensure its survival?Lol

From which perspective?Whilst you are being honest...... if you were getting sued by SISU would you be putting yourself out above and beyond what you have to in order to help them?
Think that's the least of the problems. Look at some of the London 2012 venues that went up very quickly and were all temporary.Realistically, is there enough time to upgrade the Butts between now and August to make it fir for us to play under FA/FL rules?
Well yes but they all had prior approval/planning permissions and all the funding commercial partnerships in place, well in advance. We're nowhere near that stage.Think that's the least of the problems. Look at some of the London 2012 venues that went up very quickly and were all temporary.
