I am very pleased for once that we had a new man lined up straight away.
However I think this is desperation to stay up as oppose to planning for next year.
Which makes you wonder what does relegation actually mean?

I feel really good today about Robins coming back. I remember sat on a cold winters Tuesday night at Colchester when he was manager and we played the best I'd seen us for years . We won and looked so dangerous on the break, literally could have been a cricket score.
Yes he's a turncoat, and a hypocrite to come back, as no way are his working conditions better than three years ago, but I will forgive him if he wins the league next season. If he thought we were in a mess last time he is in for one almighty shock when he finds what's it's like now.
Which makes his decision to come back all the more strange. It's not as if he won't know what the situation is like, how much worse it is since he was here last time and how much worse the squad is since he was here.
I don't buy the line that he was desperate for a job...regardless of his last two roles, there would be other L1/L2 cubs that would've taken him.
The only logic I can apply is that he's been given assurances that he'll have the resources required to get back to L1 at the first attempt or even better, he knows something positive on the ownership front.
