He's played a decent number of games in the Championship which he'll remember when his career is over whether he manages it again or notBye bye Shipley...thanks for the memories and for the wonder goal vs QPR..unfortunately Championship is a step too far.
To not even play 90 minutes over 46 games is quite damningJones looked alot physically stronger. But he also looked knackered at the end. Will be curious to see what happens with him
Did he? We didn’t touch the ball for the last 10 mins, only time he touched ball was the give it away and turn it back to stokeLast minute and he burst 60 yards up field then 60 yards back!
That’s just the law of averagesThe more this commentator says hymen the more I cringe. How fucking hard is it to get a name right. I know Clive isn't great but he tends to get it right as well as wrong in a match.
I know, I thought he was very impressive todayLast minute and he burst 60 yards up field then 60 yards back!
Clearly watched different game then, ok he looked for space but what did he do on the ball? He went back every time what happened to the jones that picked the ball up and drove at the defence ?Didn't think Jones looked at all out of his depth. Always looking to get on the ball, looked strong on it, moved it quickly and accurately.
If they can do it, we can. I'd argue we already have a better group of players. Need to sort the defence, and need to make the most of the chances we have.
You would have expected him to start today really if that was the caseJones played well. .I really hope we keep him, he looked like he'd bulked up a bit as well. Could be ok at this level if given some game time?
Good pre season injury free would like to see what he can do,he will be on low wages another year possiblyJones played well. .I really hope we keep him, he looked like he'd bulked up a bit as well. Could be ok at this level if given some game time?
Not when it was Shipley’s fair wellYou would have expected him to start today really if that was the case
What makes you say that ?Hope Viveash isn't leaving
Not when it was Shipley’s fair well
I love the lad, but I have to admit that he needs to move on, he's just taking up a squad place if he stays.Jones played well. .I really hope we keep him, he looked like he'd bulked up a bit as well. Could be ok at this level if given some game time?

What would be the point really for club and player? We’re only going to try and strengthen the squad and he couldn’t get a game this year. It’s heading towards 6 years since he last started a league match!Jones played well. .I really hope we keep him, he looked like he'd bulked up a bit as well. Could be ok at this level if given some game time?
Be gone next week thenFrom the horses mouth, 'I'm staying' , Gustavo.
Having listened to the coverage from a few other stations, theirs is easily one of the best. Clive is a very even-handed guy as is Oggy. The other BBC local stations sound like they are run by the clubs themselvesWhatever people might say about the CWR coverage - this is how hard the guys work. Completely empty press box and only Clive and Oggy left - I think they’ve been brilliant especially when you compare to other clubs’ commentary.View attachment 24576
Score more, concede less. Easy.
I agree. I've listened to quite a few. It was a genuine surprise how good Oggy really is. Very calm, measured and provides quality insight from a very experienced professional footballer perspective.Having listened to the coverage from a few other stations, theirs is easily one of the best. For someone like myself who lives miles away, I've enjoyed Clive and oggy. The godden winner against Bristol City and tavares equaliser commentaries were qualityI agree. I've listened to quite a few. Clive has improved a lot to his credit and I've started to really quite like him. He seems to have good values . I can let him off on his mistakes, I make them too although not quite as many!
The difference when Oggy was off and Benno stood in was ridiculousI agree. I've listened to quite a few. It was a genuine surprise how good Oggy really is. Very calm, measured and provides quality insight from a very experienced professional footballer perspective.
