While I'm at it, what was the logic behind him being non-league?
Was it as simple as Forest Green paid more than lower level league clubs?
He comes from a league background, after all. He also tries hard, so you'd assume he's always had the attitude to do well. Therefore, the only assumption *I* can make, is that Forest green as an ambitious, progressive club were more attractive than the league clubs on offer, at the time.
Am I right in this assumption however? Anyone know? (I note one poster on this board may well know, for sure!)
