I loved his passion for the game and believe he is probably a better manager now than he was then. Like most of our many recent managers he did not have an easy time with us and I for one was sorry to see him go!

He did buy a lot of players who were proven in the SPL but don't seem to be cutting it here. Could it be that the Championship is a much higher standard than the SPL or that the team just hasn't gelled like it should for him?

The SPL is league 1/league 2 standard at best.
