Sign these two with no one else out.

Then I will be saying .....

If we don't get in the top six unless there is some serious injuries AT is not the man for us.

Johnwillowmagic was right about SISU signing players.

SISU for the first time since their first season will have done the right thing.

Fairplay to the council for the stance they have taken

Come on city make the two signings and I will eat humble pie.

We should be top 6 with who we have now. Jennings to bite ankles.in midfield and another decent striker and I will start dreaming.....

I still can't see where 70+ goals are going to come from.

Can you tell me when your record will be fixed please? Are you seriously suggesting that with the signing of another striker or 2 our whole team wont average 1.5 goals a game?

But we haven't signed those strikers yet, so I can only base my assessment on the players currently signed in the squad.

So only strikers score goals? I beleive we have enough now, over all positions, to score 70 goals and if we add another striker then we have even more goals.

No it's not only strikers that score goals but every top 6 team usually has one who scores 20+ goals.

Thorn believes he has found that man.

I recall my mate Jonah when we were relegated from the Premiership and had just signed Joachim and Hughes saying "with those pair up front there's at least 50 goals between them".

I also recall him ringing me when the fixture list came out and saying "Willie boy, have you seen the fixture list? Who's gonna beat us".

And he wonders why we call him Jonah.

Sheffers good 15 and Cody for 20 so there is half you mystical total from just 2 players! Fleck 10 15 from the defenders and we are almost there. To negative and based on no facts as are my figures! Just get behind the team and look for positives. My glass is always half full! PUSB

You can't forget Baker who also has scored a lot down in these leagues.
Also I'm sure Ball will get 10 and so would Elliott!

To score 70 goals we need this.
20 from Cody
10 from ball
10 from Elliot
20 from midfield
10 from defenders
We can do that with the current squad I beleive so another striker and we should easily do it. A lot of pressure on Cody but he's more than capable

You can win the league by scoring 46 if you win every game 1-0! Not conceding is just as important as scoring goals.

I agree with stupot though, there's only one player in that squad that I would, confidently, say will get over 10 goals and that's Cody.

Our main issue last season was goals, whilst we did concede a lot, we had a better defensive record than a few sides that stayed up. However our goal scoring record was terrible.

I think McSheffrey and Cody will score goals, without doubt. Nevertheless, I don't believe you can just say 'oh Baker will score' based on one 6 month period for Stockport where he found goal scoring form. Fleck, the same, he's scored 2 professional goals in about 50 appearances, and whilst he may have the potential, you can't assume that he will get anymore than 2 or 3 goals.

Elliot won't score many, he's never been prolific and I don't think that's the kind of striker he is. Ball, again like Fleck has the potential, but there's no guarantees he'll score many.

McDonald 15
McSheffrey 15 (will take pens I think this season)
Elliott 10
Fleck 8
Baker 6
Bell 5
Thomas 5
Kilbane 4
Wood 3
Malaga 3
Clarke 2

Not into guessing who will get what, and Ball missed of your list, but Fleck will be taking them I would say.
