Interesting that you mention Cyrille,You mean like Cyrille?
How did you get to that? If I was measuring a player purely on their finishing stats then I wouldn't have said Toney is a better all round player than Bakayoko. Finishing is only part of a strikers game.
To be honest Grendel, I can't even remember my point. I don't even rate Bakayoko! I got bored and bogged down in stats. Have a good evening you grumpy bastard ;-)
You fkn clown.Interesting that you mention Cyrille,
Jimmy Greaves was asked about Cyrille, and he said, "decent player, but dosnt score goals, and you want your centre forward to score goals"
I couldnt of put that any better myself.
Fake news, Baka has only scored 3 in the league, Himula 2 and Godden 3. The other goals were against an Exeter B team in the Cup.LEAGUE ONLY (THIS SEASON ONLY)

If only Huddersfield had come in for the Cowleys a couple of months earlier...
I didn't realise that Cyrille Regis was such a poor striker for us. I'll have to take him out of my all time City team.Listen mate, no fucker EVER mentions Allan Shearer, and talks about the throw ins he’s taken, or the players he’s marked at corners, or the tackles he’s put in on the half way line!
Strikers are all about goals, nothing but goals, goals are what they are bought in to score, and goals are what they are judged on, nothing more than goals, nothing less than goals, Goals matter, goals win matches, it’s all about goals !!! End of, Period.
GOALS!
He believes that too. Have you seen the response to me suggesting CyrilleI didn't realise that Cyrille Regis was such a poor striker for us. I'll have to take him out of my all time City team.
He is first choice by defaultIf that was the case Baka would be first choice
Ahhh what we would give for a striker to have scored 51 goals for usI mean there clearly is... Firmino is widely (and rightly lauded) as a top rate centre forward yet his goal tally of 51 in 148 for Liverpool in the league is hardly prolific. That's not to say I think our specific strikers offer much more/less than their goal tallies suggest but to rate strikers based purely on their goal tallies isn't accurate.
Himula is that the German guy?Fake news, Baka has only scored 3 in the league, Himula 2 and Godden 3. The other goals were against an Exeter B team in the Cup.
How about how many assists they have made for other people?NO THERE ISN’T!!!
harvey098 when you were looking at Peterboro striker Toney shame you didn't look at his teammate Mo Eisa (always liked this guy) shots on target 66% shots to goals this season he has scored every 3 goals every 8 shots. Since he came into the league he has scored 1 goal every 2 games great record I think Bristol City might regreat letting him go so soon
I really don’t see how this helps the problem at all. Why do our fans get on a players back when they’re struggling it doesn’t help the problem at all. Yes I agree Baka has been much below par this season but Godden was playing with an injury and maxi has just come back from a serious one. Sometimes I wonder if our fans want us to struggle so they can say “I told you so” I personally will back this team regardless of who plays and what league they are playing in because I am a coventry fan and these are our boys end of!
In the ground, Baka and Max are probably the two most supported players.
My post wasn’t about the players reading this as I agree it would be silly for them to read this and dwell on it I just don’t see the point in moaning when we should deal with what we’ve got and back the players.I think it’s okay to criticise them on here as that is what a forum is for. Abuse directed towards them on social media is wrong but they should be professional enough not to read forums if they don’t what to see criticism. In the ground, Baka and Max are probably the two most supported players.
What other people? If the strikers aren't scoring, who the fuck is?How about how many assists they have made for other people?
If you've got Cyrille in your best ever city team ahead of Mike Ferguson, your either very young or very fucking stupid. He believes that too. Have you seen the response to me suggesting Cyrille
Is Mike any relation to Mick?If you've got Cyrille in your best ever city team ahead of Mike Ferguson, your either very young or very fucking stupid.
As for assists, Ferguson was king of them!
I’m more than well aware of the qualities of Regis, my point was about goals. Is Mike any relation to Mick?
And if you can't see Cyrille's quality then you don't understand football and have no right to call anyone stupid.... you absolute fkn moron!

Agreed, a very tough call.I see what you are saying Fatso and I don't think you are alone in this view.
But forward partnerships are important and in the context of partnerships it's often about creating space, link up play and creating chances. None of these factors would register purely in goals scored.
For example, Sheringham in my opinion was fantastic but scored only 1 in 3. Heskey who Owen loved playing with scored only 1 in 5. Both made teams tick and partnerships work.
Closer to home the Max and McNulty partnership another good example. Max created space for McNulty and was vital in our link up play.
As you've also said below Wallace and Ferguson was an amazing partnership as they complemented each other and both scored a hatful - and that was also a reflection of one of the most dynamic and attacking teams in the history of our club.
Re: players I've seen on the pitch for City it's hard to decide on our best ever strike partnership: either Wallace/Ferguson or Dublin/Huckerby. Now that's a tough call.
As you're a complete c**t I'll take that as a badge of honourI’m more than well aware of the qualities of Regis, my point was about goals.
but It’s pointless arguing anything with a complete cock like you though.
That just sums you up perfectly. As you're a complete c**t I'll take that as a badge of honour
I’d have Cyrille just ahead of Fergie. I loved the Ferguson, Wallace team and I really enjoyed watching Fergie dominate in the air. I have never seen a player able to direct a header from difficult high balls in the way that he did. I would have to say that Cyrille was the better all round player. Ironic that you picked Fergie as he was a real team player and was not exactly prolific in the goals he scored. Like Cyrille, his all round play was superb and gives the lie to your statement that strikers are only judged on goals. Both of these players had a lot more to their game.If you've got Cyrille in your best ever city team ahead of Mike Ferguson, your either very young or very fucking stupid.
