When you were told this @Saddlebrains about a Scandinavian goalkeeper you think it could actually be a loan? That's a shout
I was told it was a young Swedish Keeper a few weeks back if you recall
May well have been the wrong part of Scandinavia
I'd be disappointed however as I feel we need an older experienced head between the sticks
I am shocked…Yep same, feel like we need someone around 25-27, not too old but too young. Also, on loan to Ayr, Burton and Exeter? Not exactly challenging compared to the championship, gonna be a big jump up in quality for him, again not sure on this one, let’s hope it’s wrong.
Happy GIMOC redemption day!
I want Dan Bentley in. Barely plays for Wolves, proven at Championship level aswell.
Have teams gotten out of this league with average keepers before?
My generation were spoilt by oggySignificant number of teams go up with average keepers. Foderingham and Horvath last year.
Hladký for Ipswich this year.
There aren't that many good keepers out there (at least well known ones) feel like we potentially have to take a punt for a long term solution
He really isn’t a great keeperno need to apologise haha. hes a great keeper and in my mind achieveable.
I sorta think so as well, got good experience and that definitely counts for one thing but he’s 30 and hasn’t exactly been great when he has played for Wolves. It’s probably an improvement from Collins but maybe not the large impact that we need in that position. He really isn’t a great keeper
I’d probably be ok with letting one of them go if we got £15-17m+ for them. The club has apparently had big offers for both Simms and Wright.
as expected but it will take something quite special being offered for us to bite. The club has apparently had big offers for both Simms and Wright.

That’s a fair point. Logic would suggest next summer would be a better time to sell, if we of course even have to at that point. Not for me, both on 4 year contracts and likely imo to have a better season next year and command a better price next summer, it's not really the right time to sell.

Someone i think many will be interested in on here is Yusef Al-Gebra, spent last year on loan at 1860 Munich and similar to O Hare. Only issue may be the release and sell on clause which apparently is 9+8(6 - 5^1 ÷ 9(99(6 × 5)) × (9% × 2)) - 21 + (-(-8))+ 2110 + (((-2)×(-6))-19)-246+95*0+1)*0+1%
Galatasary for Wright? The club has apparently had big offers for both Simms and Wright.
I thought it was mentioned in his contract that that final amount was also to be multiplied by xSomeone i think many will be interested in on here is Yusef Al-Gebra, spent last year on loan at 1860 Munich and similar to O Hare. If we sold either it would be a mistake, they are both hopefully happy and have a season under their beltI’d probably be ok with letting one of them go if we got £15-17m+ for them.
Depends if Toney leaves because I doubt if anyone is going to meet Brentford's valuation of £60 million plus. Toney been average at best since he returned from his ban. Plus he is approaching 29.As much as that article by Andy Turner about the AI transfers was tosh, the idea of Simms to Brentford to replace Toney is a very believable and sensible transfer.
I had convinced myself that all the ducks were lined up and waiting for transfer window opening day, but as time goes on I becoming less optimistic and that we have been had by the media storiesGoing to be a very exciting afternoon, can’t wait!
