Customers often ring to complain about the job people do. Its life. If someone is shit at their job customers will tell them. Being a young footballer makes zero difference
Theres a difference about people constructively discussing a performance in match threads / ratings / social media and there are the knuckle draggers who just shout aimless nonsense from the stands and would cry if they got any back.
I tell ya what Nick next time you are at the match and you here some guy or guys shouting abuse towards the team or player,be my guest about shouting back at them but don't be surprised if you get some back too,it is part of the game rightly or wrongly, you take that away and you take the passion away and then you want as well stay away, why is everybody offended by everything these days, the average age of our team is 22 i think, even at 19 yrs you are an adult not a kid, saying that, some of those migrants that walked into this country posed as kids were clearly adults, and some even went to school.says a lot

Ok forget the migrant thing, not really relevant, but i clearly heard "shit on the villa " from the boys in the corner on Boxing day,so does that offend you or are they just knuckle draggers

You get a 'like' for having the balls to use the term "man up". Especially in these verbal castrating times. So it is the fans fault for our club not being consistent enough, because they might yell abuse or you could say show a bit of passion towards the players and staff , which i might add you will see at any football match from grassroots to Professional you take that out of the game then whats the point,it has always been there and always will, its a mans game.man up
They are happy to lap up praise on twitter etc so should be prepared to accept criticism too. Sorry but i dont buy your argument at allYou have to acknowledge that it isn't going to help them though.

you really are a piece of shit aren't you
Nah mate i'm not, that accolade i might add belongs to our border control and government,i'm just saying it as it is, so before you start calling someone a piece of shit, get your facts right
Where did it become about race or immigration?
Can we abuse a player more if he came over on a boat than if he was born here?
Name a player who came over here on a boat, oh! you can't can you.but who am i to stop you abusing a player if that's what you dh and where did i mention race in any of my comments on here
OK, who expected this thread to go in this direction?
Some fans are insane. I hope I’m not that bad. The fan at the emd of the penultimate one trying to have a fight. Coleman comes out as a nice man but incompetent as a manager
Not really. Any footballer knows you get good and bad. If they get affected by the bad then they are in troubleIt depends on the context though doesn't it?
Think that’s the point GaryNot really. Any footballer knows you get good and bad. If they get affected by the bad then they are in trouble
I never have a problem with after-match comments tbh, nor a good hearty after-match boo if it's been a shocker. Does seem self-defeating to put the pressure on your own players during a match though, especially if singling some out in particular. We said it before-you have to have a balance. Nothing wrong with having your say if a player hasn’t performed. Lets use Shipley as an example this season. He hasn’t been great so do we just tell lies and pretend that he is the best player on the pitch just to appease people and make them feel better? That’s just papering over the cracks I’m afraid.

Yep Aiden Mcgeedy was funny. I don’t know what he does of Coleman.we keep losing but he doesn’t tell us what to do to make it better!!! He he heThought it was out of order for him to get called a prick at the end. Shit manager yes...
Back to the documentary, just watched a bit and thought it is really poorly made. Lots of lazy edits of crowd scenes. Second game of the season when they win 3-0 at Norwich they cut to celebrating Sunderland fans clearly filmed at a home game. Another bit when Sunderland score at Carrow Rd they show Grayson leaping from the bench to celebrate at the Stadium of Light. Mind you, nothing can spoil the enjoyment of watching Sunderland get relegated.
He may we’ll be a shit manager but he was trying to put out a fire with a can of petrol to be fair to him.Thought it was out of order for him to get called a prick at the end. Shit manager yes...

Yep I agreeThere's a difference between pretending he was amazing and shouting abuse at him from the stands.
