That reads like he didn't want to encourage the fans as a group to boycott? Can't see much wrong with that, it would be like somebody from the trust quitting because they didn't agree with the Trust encouraging fans to go inside sixfields (fair enough both ways)
He resigned because the group wanted to remain impartial. Allow all to make there own minds up. Some go to Sixfields, some don't and everyone gets on well enough. The guy has a chip on his shoulder
Yes but Jonathon Strange resigned from his position with the LSC because he didn't agree with the majority decision to boycott Sixfields. so he doesn't seem to spek for them.
Sort of, from what I can gather he misunderstood the position of LSC,.He resigned because the group wanted to remain impartial. Allow all to make there own minds up. Some go to Sixfields, some don't and everyone gets on well enough. The guy has a chip on his shoulder

LSC respect each individuals choice to go or not, some do some do not, they still have a beer. As it should be.
LSC decided it would be inappropriate to have a function at Northampton, which seemed to be the issue that set Jonathon off. Not sure if anybody really understands his issue. Or it was a misunderstanding
There is an e mail list, so the minutes do get sent around. Not sure how you get added onto the list.
I read this last night and also noted the contradictions. As I understand it the individuals participate as individuals, they may also individually belong to other groups but I do not see how they can be held responsible for what the other groups do or do not do.
Joke, but then why doesn't that surprise me.
Oh well, 1500 paying customers tomorrow !
Think he'd had enough of Timmy popping in and giving it the big time Charlie offering to buy them all Mcdonalds .
Good few hundred freebies in there mate . Alas my access to tickets has now left the club . Think he'd had enough of Timmy popping in and giving it the big time Charlie offering to buy them all Mcdonalds .
Things are so bad I can't work out if you're being sarcastic or not!

Read them now and I am flabbergasted that these are the important matters for any group to consider not least a 'Supporters consultative' one. Who are these unelected imbecile's!! SBT Jan and Moz? What is going on - did you really think that you should not be allowed a voice or is this completely incorrect. Other people can express themselves better than me but any number of questions that were raised with Simon Gilbert on the thread on here are worthy of being raised at this meeting and none of them were.
Our club is on life support and Jonathan Strange is interested in finding out who wrote what on a website - Well Jonathan - I hope you read this. You do not represent me, I cannot believe that you have the best interests of our club at heart and as chair of this group you need to start asking the difficult questions before the club you claim to love ceases to exist!
I would imagine that when you are verbally attacked by fellow supporters its quite difficult to ask pertinent questions when the relevant people aren't there.
Not aimed at Jan and Moz - didn't think it came across as that - it was aimed at Mr Strange
This thread seems to have produced a rare thing ... an almost unanimous view. I hope that Jonathan Strange reads these posts and then does the honourable thing by firstly apologising, not just to the Sky Blue Trust but to all Coventry City Supporters for his abject failure to represent us properly, followed by his swift resignation from the SCG. All those who supported the motion to restrain the SBT - I understand that Jan and Moz abstained so the motion was not unanimous as reported - should also resign.
Perhaps then a new SCG can be formed at which the important issues of getting the club back to Coventry, the financial situation of the club, investment in the team for next season, restoration of fan unity etc. can be seriously discussed and action taken.

Not sure if Nick's question was answered. Along with Joe Elliott the Trust set up the Joint Counsil several years ago (long before SISU arrived) which has since changed it's name to the SCG.
So anybody who doesn't agree with you should resign? Isn't that sort of shite part of the bigger issue?

Thanks for answering. I am not sure if I remember that far back but wasn't it meant to have a member from each section of fans. Corporate, trust, london, ireland, singers corner, diamond etc. Not necessarily representing a group officially but to get a wider range of opinions?
Correct.Just so I understand, does all this mean that mr strange only represents himself ?
