It should be open to more though, you can have a middle ground.I kind of get why it has been slightly controlled else it will just turn into a baying mob frothing at the mouth and we won't actually get to hear what the owner has to say
Why are we so hellbent on including the back end of last seasons when they're were very good reasons for the drop off in form, not least because of two of the greatest days I've had in supporting the club at Wolves and Wembley. The form is this season. It's not been good enough, I thought we'd be doing better, but he still deserved and had earnt the opportunity to see that to at least Christmas. He hasn’t made the decision on a whim. Let’s be honest, if our form over the last 30 games was with any other manager, we’d have been calling for him to be sacked before he was.
Doug King has made a decision, it’s not one I would’ve made but we have to be open to the possibility that it was for the best. He isn’t shackled by sentiment in the way most of us are.
I trusted Robins on the basis that he had turned things around in 2017/18, 2019/2020 and 2022/23. We have to be honest that past performance is not a guarantee of future performance. I don’t think in his 7 years, we had a ‘rot’ of around 30 games, it’s usually been half that.
I kind of get why it has been slightly controlled else it will just turn into a baying mob frothing at the mouth and we won't actually get to hear what the owner has to say
No point asking why AV was sacked or why DL moved on, the answer isn't going to give you anything useful.
The focus of questions needs to be on what's happening next and nothing else.
The one after we just announced Sixfields was carnage... good laugh tho looking backTo be fair you've got a point.
Some of the forums with Fisher were embarrassing.
I've go no time for the man but what was the point in going to a forum with him just to shout over him.
I appreciate that everything he was trying to say was bullshit anyway but still

Mostly agree, but he does need to be challenged on his decision with Robins, he can't get off scot-free on answering that, even if he will feed us pre-prepared bullshit lines. He also needs to understand that whilst he might be the current custodian, it's our club not his and without us he has nothing. No point asking why AV was sacked or why DL moved on, the answer isn't going to give you anything useful.

Pointless question, we will probably never know fully why AV left and Lawrence was offered the opportunity of a life time that no one would turn downNo point asking why AV was sacked or why DL moved on, the answer isn't going to give you anything useful.

Be interesting to know if the snake is actually surprised by the reaction to his decision or if he was expecting it. I'm sure he'll spin it to say that he knew the strength of the feeling but it was a decision made with a heavy heart for the benefit of all in the future and that he's planned for all eventualities. I doubt he'd say, 'yeah I think I've dropped a clanger' but might still be nice to hear a response to it.

He'll be allowed to get away with it as well
Be like the numpties shaking hands with the Wasps hierarchy, Don't think I've ever been so pissed off at a group who supposedly thought they were representing us.I remember the one “announcing “ the new stadium and actually the majority of people there rolled over and had Fisher tickle their tummies. For all the bravado, can see similar happening tonight by the end.

Bit of an exaggerationI certainly don’t think the strength of feeling is going to be got across. Mostly because if it were the police would advise cancelling it.
"I've got a podcast"
Fucking hell.I certainly don’t think the strength of feeling is going to be got across. Mostly because if it were the police would advise cancelling it.
The end of last season have mitigating factors. Honestly, I know we're covering old ground and you're as entitled to your opinion as I am, but I couldnt disagree more. Even before Wolves we had big performances against Leeds and Leicester. Then with this season we absolutely were turning it around. We Beat Blackburn, it was a last minute v Wedneday. Leeds and Preston were the stand-out poor games. We had gone three unbeaten including two wins against good opposition and the performances decent too (albeit helped at Boro with the sending off). Derby was poor, but no way was he sacked on the back of that or it would've been knee jerk. Had he done it ahead of Luton it was harder to make a case. I believe that's when he made the decision and was waiting for a loss to pull the trigger. The end of last season have mitigating factors. Our record against the top half teams was atrocious, even before Wolves game. This season, we’ve lost 7 games which is nearly half of last season. 4 of those losses have come to bottom half teams (Derby crept up into 12th otherwise it would be 5). Our home and away records are poor so there’s nothing suggesting we’re close to turning it around other than blind faith in Robins - which I personally had.
This season has been poor so far and when you factor in last season, it paints a bleak picture. I will freely admit that I’d have been calling for any other manager to be sacked.
I'm not really fussed about the answers because I know we won't get any but think Pete and whoever goes will give it a go.
Can someone just call him a c*nt? That would make me feel a bit better.
"Doug, are you are aware that a large portion of the fanbase believe you are an egotistical c*nt who, through your naive decisions will ruin what has been built over the last 7 years? What do you say to them?"

Ripped jeans is my go toHahaha Pete please insist on talking about the queues for the toilets or something while everyone tries to ask King about the manager.
They’ll be strong feelings expressedHe probably needs that reaction to realise. with everyone having been briefed to told what they can say and when in a sanitised environment, he simply wont get it.

this seems to designing to make it seems he's met the fans in an open forum where people can ask what they want but its obvious it isn't. even Fisher fronted up to the supporters when he did some of his batshit crazy things
Didn't someone chuck a chair at him in a pub once?Bit of an exaggeration... no one would do anything
We moved stadiums twice and the worst that happened was a few people shouted at Fisher
