Old mrs or new one? This is one of the posts, I can't find the other where I was more graphic. Searched for a few things in my posts but can't see it. Not reposting for an 'I told you so' point scoring, but simply there had to be more in it than a new coaching structure. Otherwise we'd have added and enhanced what we had.
They were our Clough and Taylor, together genius and the sum greater than the parts. Alone, perhaps we do need to move forwards despite me having been quite vociferous about it being the wrong decision, I've come to the conclusion I need to let it go and get behind the new broom.
A management team together for over 6 seasons or an owner in charge for just over 6 months ?The real issue of conjecture is why did Viveash get sacked and by who
If we knew that we’d know a lot about what subsequently happened
On the contrary he should have had feelers put out well in advance of the sacking. It's a cruel world. It's how businesses work. Now we have potentially several games with no manager.
I didn't hear the fans forum and have only read what has been said on here.
1. Just because King comes out and says stuff, doesn't mean it's automatically true. Seems a lot of people on here immediately believed everything he was saying this evening.
2. I would like to hear Robins' side of the story. Guess that's not going to happen due to NDA's or suchlike.
And as someone said, tonight seemed to imply that everything was Robins' fault and none of it Doug King's.
Hmmm....
I really would like to hear the other side of the story. Not sure what to believe here.
Not saying King is lying, but at the same time, I am not going to believe it just because he said it.
I think Saddles said that Robins would tell a different story.
I don't think we will ever know, so it's probably best to just move on and focus on the new manager, whoever that is going to be.
Doug said all the best tacticians wanted to be a number 1 , which is an odd response
Why would they apply
The real issue of conjecture is why did Viveash get sacked and by who

The whole narrative was that Viveash was the real number one all along and Robins was inferior
That wouldn't have stayed secret. Imagine the fan reaction if it came out that he was plotting to get rid of the man who saved Coventry City?
A former employee told me Schumacher other day but players ready for Lampard and the fact king has changed his tune in past 10 mins from no contact with Lampard to admitting he has. I suspect that answers your question
The whole narrative was that Viveash was the real number one all along and Robins was inferior
Fair play to our incumbent owner over our in house manager?Fair play doug
robins just wasn’t present this season looked a tired man and had to go
It's utter tosh Nick.Just put that Cov Pod on, that Gabriel Sutton is fucking annoying. Up there with Thogden. Just tries to get on everything and anything and doesn't really know.
The weirdest takeYeah he said Viveash was the tactician, he said that Robins "got found out"
Maybe we reached out to them? Didn't fancy a proper backseat role.Doug said all the best tacticians wanted to be a number 1 , which is an odd response
Why would they apply
Doug destroyed and praised robins .
It's all very odd and also all very unproffesional
Is this the same source that said that Sheaf was on strike?
It sounds as though Robins went to King and said I don't like Adi anymore so get rid of him.
If that's the case I can understand why solicitors are involved
The weirdest take
Spot onThe whole narrative was that Viveash was the real number one all along and Robins was inferior
Well the fact solicitors are involved would suggest something much more sinister is at play .. not a simple fall out over a media quote
Is it odd to praise him for what he's done for the club but say he was found out at this level or whatever his words were?
WTF happened for Robins to say to King he couldn’t work with Adi anymore.. ?The real issue of conjecture is why did Viveash get sacked and by who
If we knew that we’d know a lot about what subsequently happened
I mean you’ve been quite vocal for a long time that it was DK that took away Robins tools and dismantled the coaching setup.
That’s not quite true though is it???
I don't think it does, probably just meant there was some disagreement on the settlement of the contract?Well the fact solicitors are involved would suggest something much more sinister is at play .. not a simple fall out over a media quote
I meant from Kings perspectiveIs it that weird?
Is this the same source that said that Sheaf was on strike?
Robins could batter King in court if he’s lying. King isn’t that stupid.
He didn't say that though , he blamed robins for everything that went wrong and then reffered to him as a brilliant manager
PossiblyI don't think it does, probably just meant there was some disagreement on the settlement of the contract?
