Give Jackson and Nouble time, they will certainly come good in the formation and chances we create, once Jackson is fit, we will have a very good player on our hands

I was surpirsd when we signed Nouble as we already had 4 strikes (plus George Thomas) on the books at that point - so including GT, we now have 6 which IMO makes us top heavy, especially when you consider we lack an affective holding midfielder and are maybe lacking in cover at CB too.
So you now think we need 7 strikers at the club? It's not as if we can pick them all at the same time!
NO I think we need 3 very good ones and a back up. For me its not about quantity
its all about quality and if we had 3 excellent forwards in the form of Jackson, Nouble and Sylvan EB up top we could be a serious threat in this division where games come thick and fast. We would then need a 4th either McQuiod or Tudgay and George Thomas who is not ready yet, in case of an injury crisis.
Starters: Jackson, Nouble, SEB (2 from 3)
1st reserve: McQuiod (a 1 in 9 career goals to game ratio) Tudgay (looked very off the pace)
2ns reserve: Miller (0 in 5 for us and a career average goals to games ratio of 1 in 4.4 mostly in League 2)
So you think that because SP has signed 3 strikers you don't rate he should just keep on signing more? As Spider says, 5 senior strikers is already too many if anything' then you have the kids on top.
If you saw Jackson and Nouble play on Saturday then you wouldn't say we needed another striker.

McQuoid is our joint top-scorer, Miller has barely played and he's scored too. We already have 5 strikers, we're unbeaten in 7 and have one our last three. At the moment I really don't see it as an issue.
We signed Denzel Slager last season as he was cheap and available and also Seabourne. Both
released shortly after as they were frankly just not up to it.
I fear Miller and Tudgay could both fall into this category in terms of where we are aiming to be (a top 6 team). And were slightly panic buys.
Josh McQuiod was only signed as part of the Wilson deal and SP would not have signed him if it were not for the fact the Cherries wanted our best forward. He is here until January only.
We will need 3 top quality forwards this season and currently I feel we have only 2. Feel free to disagree but after wathing every game this season JPT away at Wycombe aside this is my feeling.
I have put Sylvan EB forward as he is local has a superb goals to game ratio is on a free and would light up this league and could make us into a top 2 outfit.
If SP really rated Miller & Tudgay & McQuiod so hightly why has he gone on to bring in 2 new forwards who look like they will be 1st choice since??
If you really believe that 3 of the 5 strikers we have signed are next to useless shouldn't you be calling for the manager to go? Sorry pal, I think I'd sooner trust SPs judgement than yours.
Fair enough I am just some random fan I get that, but on transfers he has been found wanting and I
think this is due to the constraints he is working under.
If you want facts rather than perceptions go to soccerbase and look at our in's and out's under SP and you will see he has not really done very well in the market at all.
If it were not for our academy and how well he does with them (his forte) then we would be looking in bad shape.
Guess time will tell on the sucess or otherwise of Tudgay, Miller and McQuiod.
Yep ccfc1234 not in land of reality - besides stats on current strikers completely wrong!! (1.)
Miller has scored already and not played many minutes his goals to minutes played ratio cannot be too bad???!!!
Mcquoid don't care about his past what is his goals to game ratio for us ccfc1234 not too shabby eh??? (2.)
Nouble is 1 in 2 and made Jacksons winner on Saturday (3.)
Jackson goals per minutes is good too like Miller's and more come
Tudgay - not done it so far but experience could be vital over course of season have a feeling he may do well tonight if called upon now comp for places
George Thomas - Raw academy product wo can only learn from above and should give a few minutes here or there if possible.
More than sufficient depth for League 1 at least until January.
(4.)
Sylvain ewanks Blake - no thanks what is his more recent goals to game ratio ccfc1234 .......???? Huge wage demands and big time Charlie attitude,
bombed out of Wolves and did not miss him .....says it all!!!
For what its worth, my opinion on those 3 players is:
Tudgay - Yes has looked poor, but has been prolific in the past and I think he was worth a punt. Might yet prove his worth.
Miller - Hasn't had a chance yet really, did take his goal well, wait until he gets a run through injury, then judge.
McQuoid - 3 goals, nice touch, works hard, no complaints yet from me.
0 in 5 for Miller come on read my post again goals per minutes for Miller not bad better than Ebanks blake recent record
Notice again you have not read or answered my goals per game ratio for Cov for Mcquoid......I wonder why!!!
Good on your final comment!

"The 28-year-old striker constructed a reputation as one of the Championship’s most rapacious marksmen during his five-year tenure at Wolves.
Not my words an expert footballing Jerno apparently.
Anyhow Josh McQuoid for CCFC has 3 in 8 in all competitions with a goals to games ratio of 1 in 2.6 (superb) However with a career averahe of worse than i in 9 I would be staggered (in a very happy way) if this was maintained.
And how many of those games did JM play up front? Stats can be an arse, surely you know that?
Take your point Samo, I have not really followed his career that closely until now. But he has been a forward every time I have seen him play.
