League One Table - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/league-one/table

That doesn't look so bad at all.

Yep by the absence of the pitchfork rebellion TM out squad all over the forum I know it will be looking ok without actually looking. But thanks anyway.

Considering most of the league have played twice since our last game I'd say it's not bad at all, of course it won't mean a thing if we don't win our games.

Too many draws, just makes Swindon away etc more irritating.

Wigan are right on form over the last 10 games..... Always were likely to click with the new signings and parachute payments.

I said in early months of season wigan millwall and sheff utd be our main rivals. 2 I'm still on for. Swapped sheff utd for Walsall sharpish come.November lol

It's gonna be such an achievement if we manage to get promoted. Not much between entire top 6. Still feel Burton will fall abit. Wether that means they win title by 1 pt or only get into playoffs I do not kno just a feeling

So why will Burton fail?
If they win their 2 games in hand they will be 10 points clear.
We have all been waiting for them to fail but they keep going strong.
How many games have they lost this season?
Will have to lose double that amount just to get knocked off top spot.
I believe they will walk it right is on for second place.

Burton aren't going to fail. Fair play to them, they will be in the Championship next season.

We can get second place. We need to beat the surround teams to get there though. We have the capability to do it so it's in our own hands.

Think we will get the play-offs at the very least.

Personally think if Burton do fail it's down to clough. I reckon 90 for the automatic so they still need 27 more and far from guaranteed. If they get them fair play, but both spots definitely still up for grabs at this stage.

If the bury win wasnt a flash in the pan like Crewe and we kick on then the table looks fine

Burton W7 D2 L1
Wigan W6 D4
Gillingham W6 D2 L3
Walsall W4 D3 L3
Mill wall W7 D1 L2
Coventry W3 D4 L3
Sheff Uinted W3 D4 L3
Bradford W4 D4 L2

as you can see we have the worse record in the last 10 games and if the Bury result was a fluke then I would say Bradford will overtake very shortly , the tables don't lie we are where we are because of our lack of consistency
no more excuses now we have got to go out and try to win every game! Fuck setting us up to not lose

Well yep, but surely that is the table not lying over the last 10 games. Football is not a fluid, consistent form table that remains the same, it goes up and down.

It's the next 10 games that are important.

I get what you are saying and would probably agree with you apart from the fact that we should now be a different animal.

Cargill and Stephens have come in to solidify the defence. Aaron Martin is back. Lorentzson has also given us another option at right back. We now have physicality up front in Darius Henderson.

The last 10 games for the most part we were weakened and now hopefully we have strengthened.

Fully agreed. Wee have supposedly been waiting for months and months for Burton to fall down the table, it isn't going to happen and fair play to them. Great to see a club like them in the Championship.

Our March games are the ones that will make or break the season. April are the tough ones. None of the teams we face in March should give us any problems, but we are Coventry City. Making a rod for our own backs is the club's unofficial motto

Lets face it we have been quite lucky in the other teams recent results

I am more than a little worried. We seem to be going backwards. With Sheffield United and Bradford coming up on the rails we need to put 2 or 3 back to back wins together. Its not just the points we are dropping it the position in the league that seems to be getting worse on a weekly basis. I still think we should make the play offs but its not the warm fuzzy feeling i had 6 weeks ago.

They have shut up shop and play on the break home and away and have the most 1-0 wins in the entire football league! Fair play to them but I could not watch that football all season

I could compared to the % of wins we've endured over the past few decades?

Your talking about 1 game, not nearly 1/4 of the season. What about the 10 games before or the numerous games we have thrown away winning positions? As i said we should make the playoffs but if we are as inconsistent as we have been since mid December we have every chance of blowing it.

We beat Bury 6-0. Many liked to say that is because they are shit. They played Sheffield United next and beat them. Yet we are supposed to be worried about a club that lost to a shit side that we hammered in our last game

We are not the only inconsistent side near the top. That is why we are still in the top 6. And all of them games in hand the other sides had have now been played. At the same time we now have a much better defence.

We are in a great place compared to this time last year, how the **** can we be moaning about our form, we were relegation doomed last year until TM took over.

i would have bitten my own hand off to be in this position this year.

will we miss out on the play offs - possibly but it will have been one of the better seasons I have watched in the last 10 years.

The new defence still has work to do, Clarke could have scored a few against us but the opposition still fear our goal threat so I remain positive that we will make the play offs and then it's down to the balls of the players in front of our sell out bandwagon and 50,000 to Wembley

I am still concerned about our strike force it is still based on one player Adam Armstrong, nowhere near enough goal threat from elsewhere, yes we now have Darius Henderson but he ain't really played yet. We get an early goal as we did v Crewe and Bury we go onto blast teams but the longer it goes on at 0-0 or 0-1 the more vulnerable we become. Still need a right winger to replace Ryan Kent and now JOB in my opinion

Yep agree. If we had a right midfielder who could get balls into the box, then replacing Armstrong with Henderson would make much more sense.

I cannot see us conceding many goals between now and the end of the season. A few 1-0 s may be good enough.

Me neither. Stokes is as steady as a rock and now we have Cargill and Stephens, who both look really comfortable on the ball.

Add to that Aaron Martin coming back in Martin Lorentzson as an option at right back and it's all looking so much better.

I think we will be much tighter at the back as a result.

Southend v Burton tonight, what result are people hoping for?

Personally I cant see us catching them but the longer they are still in a "fight" to go up the better.

Their last 2 home games are Gillingham and Wigan so Id prefer them not to be promoted and be in holiday mode for either of those games.

If we make it to Wembley, how many do you think would be there (if we were playing Gillingham for example)

Think Stupot said the teams only get about 28,000 each anyway and the rest are corporate.

Is that right?

That sounds like an FA cup final allocation, I think the playoffs are different, I watched Scunthorpe v Millwall from the Sunthorpe end a few years back and I reckon there must have been 40k Millwall fans there.

Not sure if they were granted more though as Scunthorpe only took maybe 15k?

Would love to know for certain.

Last season's final had an attendance of 48,000, with 25,000 from Preston and 23,000 from Swindon.

The season before was 43,000 for the game between Orient and Rotherham.

The season previous to that was 42,000 for Brentford v Yeovil.

52,000 the year before that for Huddersfield v Sheffield.

Absolutely ridiculous if this is indeed that case. Sheff Utd I'm sure could easily take 50,000 the same as us.

What a waste of revenue and denial of people being able to go and see a match of such importance.

To also play in a half empty stadium that could easily be filled is a complete joke.
