Not quite the disaster everyone on here is making out happened
Yeah, it was a tight hard-fought game, as they all are bound to be in a league where every team is shelling out millions on players' wages. Not quite the disaster everyone on here is making out happened
Nobody was 'lethargic' FFSCouldnt care what stats, drawings you see
you watch football as and when it happens
anyone watching that yesterday could see how disjointed, lethargic and pedestrianised our football was

If their shot had been deflected wide, and one of ours had snuck under the keeper for a 1-0 win, I guarantee this forum would have been all about how we ground out 3 points without our best midfielder, with the playoffs or even the autos still in our sights.
Tbf that game control index is bollocks, Norwich completely controlled the first 20+ minutes of the second half, dominated possession and looked like they had 2 extra players at times with the ease they played through our press. Not quite the disaster everyone on here is making out happened

Mmmmm not sure I heard him say that at allTbf that game control index is bollocks, Norwich completely controlled the first 20+ minutes of the second half, dominated possession and looked like they had 2 extra players at times with the ease they played through our press.
Even Robins said we were terrible.
No disrespect Pete, but you had Rudoni down for MOTM…Mmmmm not sure I heard him say that at all
I wonder if Binks could be an option at left back? He has the ball playing skills and it frees up LCB for Kitching to come back in.It’s there within the team, just needs a bit of a reset and unlocking - we saw it pre season and the players haven’t got shit over night.
I think that simply just stringing 3 consecutive passes together in quick succession is enough to create momentum in a game sometimes to take the team forward, and that’s something we couldn’t do yesterday. It’s part of the reason why I’ve been banging on about playing JD instead of Bidwell, he’s a dead piece on the chessboard when you’re in possession and building. Often things will end with him and it kills a moment when momentum can build.

Don’t think so
I agree although da silva have them a second goal didnt heThen it probably has to be Da Silva with Bidwell looking so out of form.
ok boomerCouldnt care what stats, drawings you see

That’s the problem, he also has shortcomings that need addressing, but at the moment we need the forward momentum he provides.I agree although da silva have them a second goal didnt he

The disjointed bit was spot on but he was the man to sort it out and didn't.In the second half we played like a team that had been on the piss the night before, second to every ball they just walked though us when they had a mind to.Most of the time they just treated it like a training session waiting till approached and moving the ball on.He said we were disjointed and lacking any fluidity
Norwich were the better team 2nd half . We probably should have been 2 up by HTyou clutching at straws here?
Norwich were the better team by far
they looked more dangerous going forward, finding players in space. we were our usual tap tap, sideways backwards approach
Norwich were the better team 2nd half . We probably should have been 2 up by HT
We were much the better team 1st halfreally? simms missed half a chance other than that cant remember a great chance. I certainly didnt go for my half time pint thinking we should be 2 up
To be fair if we’d of put our chances away, simms definitely and wrights was straight at the keeper, we could of been 2 up but we never looked like winning that game, which is worrying at home, we actually looked scared to get on the ball, really? simms missed half a chance other than that cant remember a great chance. I certainly didnt go for my half time pint thinking we should be 2 up
Simms had at least 3 decent chances first half. One from the left when he was through and poked it wide. One really good headed chance he mistimed. And one from the right.really? simms missed half a chance other than that cant remember a great chance. I certainly didnt go for my half time pint thinking we should be 2 up
Put it this way, Sargent doesn’t miss that chance. We were much the better team 1st half
And Simms wasn't a half chance , he had to be composed and slot it past the keeper , simple basic stuff
And when it is, missing it completely.Just not getting the ball in front of goal basically.

Bidwell isn’t out of form. Bidwell is doing what Bidwell does. Then it probably has to be Da Silva with Bidwell looking so out of form.
