Tactical change for next season? (1 Viewer)

Anyone think Robins will revert back to a back 3 this season?

We’ll definitely see a shift of sorts with Adi’s exit and a whole new coaching team.

Robins wants to control games better but we looked pretty toothless when we dominated possession last season. This will be key to us getting into the top 6.

No, but I do wonder if we will be more flexible this year in terms of changing formation during a game if we need to. Back three likely if wingers not working.

I suspect the main tactical changes we might see are a flatter midfield 3 rather than a triangle and potentially 442/424 in certain situations.

Would like to see that tbh and as PTR said above, would like to see us be more adaptable if a particular game demands it.

I’m fully against a back 3 with WBs but if there’s a tactical reason to play it against a particular opponent then I’m all for it. Not saying I know more than Robins, obviously, but from the outside looking in it feels like we’ve been reluctant to change formation at times, rather than being flexible with how we set up depending on the opposition. (Feel like I could have worded that better?)
