Yeah, he was a decent guest. Seems very proud of the youngsters at City; although it's Greg Rioch who's to thank for that.

The one thing i think so far we have got right is having a plan for the youth, seems Kilbane has come in as a future replacement to what Carso did last yr and we have a back room staff that have managed youth players. He spoke very highly of players coming through, it seems as well as if the some of the money from the Gael transfer will be used to maintain that academy production line!

I really hope you're right and that Fisher isn't bullshitting again like he did with the 'bounce-back budget'.

Our academy really is the only thing we've got going for us. I think Fisher was expecting more of a backlash from Bigi being sold - which is why they came out with that statement.

If done right though academies can fund the football club. I reckon Southampton must have made 25 - 30 mil from selling Bale, Walcott and the Ox.

Kilbane (former Carsley colleague) replaces Carsley, Shaw (former Carsley colleague) replaces Harrison so who do you think Carsley will replace then ?

Why would there be a backlash? Our fans just bend over and take it up jacksie as normal. These arseholes could take us to league 2 and you'd still take it.

People can't really complain after the continued acceptance of Thorn, SISU must be pissing themselves.

I was one of the few protesters at the Southampton game and haven't renewed my season ticket for the first time in 18 years.

Short of burning their offices down there's not a lot more I can do.

I hung around in the casino til after the game so I could protest again - we got a mixture of 'well done' and 'get a life / get in there and support the team'.

Well look where putting up with SISU has got us.

I'm resigned to the fact that the City support don't have it in them to kick off - so me plus the 3 I go to games with won't be renewing until these tossers are gone.

Indeed. Sisu of course bought us the genius that is Andy Thorn which I assume Rich87, NLHWC and Sky Blue John are very supportive of and yet I am the Sisu lover apparantly. How odd.

You should see the nut on Twitter telling me to be thankful for what SISU have done for the club and that blaming them for this situation is nonsensical.

They had a firm offer on the table to get some of their money back and turned it down.
