Doyle seemed to have twat-mode engaged today and looked very up for a scrap. From Block 18 i could see that he went in on Tats at speed but couldn't see if it looked reckless or not. Agree the ref was dogshit today.

To be honest not that I want to defend Doyle much-it was a firm but fair challenge. Though to be clear, Dewsbury-Hall was given a penalty for being challenged in the same way by Thomas last season.

He didn’t look like he wanted the ball today maybe not 100% even Milan didn’t give him the option at times like he wasn’t confident in tats today.

Didn't watch the full match but first half bidwell was playing too close to the CB giving there winger wayyyyy to much space.
To be fair I agree with some of the above, the challenge wasn’t a poor one, just robust and if he’s caught his ankle or whatever then this can happen. They were both charging after it and it was just a bit of a mismatch in terms of stature/power.
also, Doyle wasn’t afraid of dishing it out when he was with us, even for a 19 year old. I liked that about him.
so I don’t really hold it against him, even his little spat with Haji.
Just one of those players you really don’t want to be playing against. Let’s face it we’d have him back all day long.
