Don't see why. We've seen nothing of him so far so can't judge. I thought he had development squad signing written all over him when he joined, but I could be wrong. He has to go out on loan.
Rapha will already be ahead of him.
No I agree with you, he is here for development. But in my mind he'll be dipped in and out of the first team squad, when we need him. Being a natural wide player, I can see him being used ahead of Tavares in those position - for his development.Don't see why. We've seen nothing of him so far so can't judge. I thought he had development squad signing written all over him when he joined, but I could be wrong.
Based on what?He has to go out on loan.
Rapha will already be ahead of him.
Based on what I've seen of Tavares over the last 3 years and a 4 min Youtube compilation of Rapha.Based on what?
This was definitely my stance but he’s shown glimpses of being able to positively impact games. He's not good enough , don't care if he had a good few minutes against man utd ..callum ball scored against arsenal.
For the sake of his own long-term career he needs to actually play regular first team football. This was definitely my stance but he’s shown glimpses of being able to positively impact games.
I think You’re probably correct but I wonder if he’s earned the right to have a little longer to prove this?
He’s not a winger anyway. He has to go out on loan.
Rapha will already be ahead of him.
He's the new assistant managerHe looks happy with his new support role.
He looks happy with his new support role.
Have the badges faded in the wash already? He looks happy with his new support role.
Yeah-that’s about all he is good for-carrying the water and the bag of balls. He looks happy with his new support role.
He's the water carrier we've been missing!!He looks happy with his new support role.
I was right in front of that tackle, 2 defenders clattered him think anyone could have come out of that injured. For his development, into the very tidy forward he could be, I agree that it would benefit him greatly to go out on loan.
Has to be this season.
That ankle could become increasingly problematic though, as time goes on.
Yes, absolutely. However, I was highlighting that the ankle and surrounding tissue could become weakened, as I’m sure I read that the ankle injury is on the same foot that he ruptured the Achilles tendon.I was right in front of that tackle, 2 defenders clattered him think anyone could have come out of that injured.
Because he hardly played for them. He’s 24 in January and never consistently played first team football. We got him from Rochdale after he’d been there 3 years, why does he need to go back down on loan to get game time? He’s already served his time lower down, give him game time in the Champ surely he’s at the level now.
Have the badges faded in the wash already?
Can’t really take anything from friendly matches, I think he needs to leave for his own sake. He’ll never get regular minutes here.Upcoming friendlies are his chance to shine, he was good in those FA Cup matches.
He still isnt fully fit and also we dont play any friendlies for another 3 weeks officially!Upcoming friendlies are his chance to shine, he was good in those FA Cup matches.
