Tell you what, clickbait from newspapers is nothing compared to this lot...
Anybody fall for the headlines and spend a fortune on Premium Rate phone lines on the back of a headline in an advert on teletext? I did a couple of times until I got wise.
The headline would be something like 'Strachan on verge of signing midfielder?' at which point you'd ring up to find out who he was signing... to be met with a lengthy trailer telling you they were about to tell you all about their promised discussion on Strachan about to sign a midfielder... to then find it was just generic nonsesne that we could write better, where it basically said that with only six midfielders at the club, Strachan was surely in the market for a midfielder, and there were surely midfielders who'd like to sign for him.
One lighter wallett, you'd be none the wiser...
Clubcall was another culprit of this I think?
