I can see Geoff Foster asking the tough question of what do think to selling up and leaving? Is it true you are selling Ryton? Why did Chris Anderson leave?

Not surprisingly really. Amazed it took this long.

No surprise, always going to be the case I feel - and how a lot of clubs react to criticism or negative publicity

thought SISU and CCFC were two separate things though, seems not

At a time when engagement with the fans is vital, the club directors (who are tasked with acting in the best interests of OEG t/a CCFC) close one of the main avenues of communication to protect anonymous shareholders who apparently play no part in the running CCFC (completely separate we are told)

Just keeps getting better and better ............... not!

Dear old Geoff will no doubt ask Mowbray what he's having for lunch.
So true! I posted my prediction for how the interview will go on the match thread yesterday. I'm surprised Mowbray hasn't resigned after the training ground story. Perhaps he is just waiting til we lose on Saturday.

I have been told on here that sisu and ccfc are different things. Apparently not.

This move harms the club because the local paper can't report on them. The ban doesn't affect sisu it affects ccfc.

No surprise at all, can't blame them really despite me backing the campaign and signing the petition.

Think this really is the beginning of the end , just what will be left is the question
Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Childish and the truth hurts

We won't be going again and funding you in any way

New owners are needed and 11,000 people have spoken
Well done the telegraph you have uncovered the real Sisu

Yeah, like Les Reid.

Don't know if you know this, but he has won awards and is now so high profile he is now working for a once weekly free local paper.

The 'SISU Out' story by the CET was too little too late, in the grand scheme of things. If they've changed their tune and finally stopped glossing over the truth, fair enough, but can they duke it out with SISU and their PR machine?

Time will tell, obviously.

Again, I doubt SISU will be going anywhere until they have a seriously rich and financially frivolous buyer. They care little for the heritage of the club, or the fans - their mandate is to recoup, recoup, recoup at any cost until the right buyer comes. Which, of course, may never actually transpire.

SISU distressing the CT now, limited CCFC coverage could be disastrous for both parties. In fairness though, SISU aren't the first ones to threaten to ban local journalists, the previous regime threatened something similar.

To get people into the ground they need the CT. CT is always covering the club and doing pre match articles and bigging games up and also serves as a reminder to a few armchair fans that there is a game on and when.
