The number of coaches is fine. I reckon other teams probably have more.If it’s true that the players are finding it confusing with the number of coaches giving information then that is down to Robins.
The training ground, changing room, on field instructions is his area of control. He can simplify it if he chooses too.
I don’t think the issue is the number of coaches we have, by modern standards we are very normal, so it may be the way they are being managed IF and I IF it is actually an issue.
MVE has been good as well I think but not as consistent IMO.If we were having a player of the season thus far award Eccles probably wins it for me... and it's possibly not even close. I'd be interested to hear any counter argument.

Well that will please all the ‘we’ve got too many staff’ brigade - yet another one……Rumours on X about an assistant coming in...

but as it’s an “assistant manager” then they will be fine about it…
Yep, exactly. The irony about two many staff is Lawrence and Viveash left, Boateng and Carr came in and Delaney and Dempster were already here.
This.Yep, exactly.
It’s a total bollocks theory that we’ve got too many. I’m sick of all the so-called experts and ‘voices of the fans’ going on about it.
I just feel that the performance director is an easy target cos she’s female, and all the fans who go on about how the players must be confused don’t seem to be able to look the 20 feet across at the oppositions bench and see exactly the same if not more staff.

I see far more posts on here making this claim than (if any) those that are actually criticising her because of her sex.
She gets a lot of stick (rightly or wrongly) but really don't think is part of it apart from an extremely tiny minority at most.
If the performance director was male it would make no difference…I think that idea is a red herring.Yep, exactly.

also, those that say ‘I don’t see any defined roles, it just says first team coach’ - well what do they want?
corner kick defence coach? Transition coach? Shooting coach?
It’s ignorance of having not worked at that level and in an elite environment.
give the highly qualified coaches and players a bit more credit.

Yes, I do. If we're going to have numerous coaches then it needs to be absolutely clear who is responsible for what. Otherwise you've potentially just got four coaches with four different ideas on stuff and a squad of players who have absolutely no idea who to listen to.also, those that say ‘I don’t see any defined roles, it just says first team coach’ - well what do they want?
