I mean like I said I’m as guilty as anyone slagging off the trust. I don’t know how to reach out them.More than happy to speak to the Trust. I have offered them sub forums for Q+As with sensible questions only. I have offered to help them with anything technical that I can.
They have absolutely no interest in interacting (aside from CJ).
I mean like I said I’m as guilty as anyone slagging off the trust. I don’t know how to reach out them.
But I think we do need to change the perception of this place,
It gets heated, but let’s face it the reason it’s heated is because we have so much passion for the club.
@CJ_covblaze do you think you could convince the board to come onto a moderated sub-forum, (sorry @Nick I’m making ideas on your forum)
Let’s bridge this gap between fans and get the best for our club!
I slag them off out of frustration. Like you say it's about passion.
I have tried for years, other than a couple of people who have interacted they have no interest in the slightest.
As i said, more than happy to bridge the gap and work on something that is Pro CCFC that can benefit the fans.
Maybe, but let’s give them the chance to lay their cards on the table. The trust have a set of objectives that are inconsistent with the majority of fans who attend games - it will never change
Think that top line is the main point. We’ve all got this built up anger. There’s stories coming out that you know are complete crap. There’s stories not coming out at all. All anybody wants is for no lies and straight answers, and just to know what will happen. And we all want a voice, one all fans can get behind... and that doesn’t seem to be something our supporters club can do. So this forum becomes a dumping ground.
For that scale of reduced value the house would have to be uninhabitable, as opposed to having the leasehold extended by 200 yearsYeah the house buying/renting analogy in our situation is scratchy.
But given that it was tenantless at the time, and being ran into the ground - is it possible that the value did drop?
I know this is going to be a can of worms (arena wasn’t auctioned - hence the EC complaint)
Take a 250k house at auction, it’s a bit run down, and goes for 50k - that would be fine right?
Again bad analogy.... but it’s the only similar thing I can compare to
Exactly.Thing is they shouldn’t be toeing the line with wasps and the council - they should be 100% behind the club
I think we all know Nick that the grabbing legal profession will do everything possible to instigate legal action for their own gainIt is only legal action if the European Commission start legal action. They will only be involved and money will only be paid if there is a fault to be found. That won't be the fault of CCFC, that will be the fault of the Council and Wasps.
It's as if you think that gives them a pass to use it against CCFC? It's as if you have completely missed CCFC being stuck in the middle for god knows how many years?
Thing is they shouldn’t be toeing the line with wasps and the council - they should be 100% behind the club
Yes of course, I’m not saying that they have to agree with everything the club do. But they should unite against any threat to the club.Well they should at least have people involved who have different views.
It's basically an echo chamber. I know people involved who I have a lot of time for but it needs reforming.
I can see that happening to be honest, maybe not with the trust but if the unity from today carries on. Even if it's just some city fans who have different views going for a pint, it's certainly a start.Well they should at least have people involved who have different views.
