Oh, that's changed again. What happened to having to own our own ground?
Wasps probably have a better chance than our lot.We should just submit the application as Wasps. It'll get waved straight through then...
Looking at that picture trains are constantly going to be travelling over one of the corner flags
Wasps probably have a better chance than our lot.

Please try to keep up.
The new grand vision is to rent a ground off a rugby club, and have access to a percentage
Of the revenue streams. Sound familiar.
Only this time we are going to do it in a stadium that will safeguard our position somewhere
Between League 1 and the lower reaches of non league. Genius.
Only supporters of this club could get excited about a backward move, a bullshit one at that.

How about committing long term to the Ricoh and getting an improved deal as a result ?So what is the best thing for us to do then? You seem to be clued up so what is the solution. Renting from Wasps with a tiny income? That's our future is it?
Torch, with SISU at the helm there is no future for CCFC, we're just stuttering towardsSo what is the best thing for us to do then? You seem to be clued up so what is the solution. Renting from Wasps with a tiny income? That's our future is it?
How about committing long term to the Ricoh and getting an improved deal as a result ?
How about buying into income streams as they become available and increasing that percentage ?
How about building our own sports facilities and renting them back when not in use ?
I could go on about increasing income streams but I bet I've already lost a few.

Wasn't it £75000 revenue at the Ricoh, obviously that could improve considerably ifA fantasy as much as Fisher's new stadium. Why would Wasps give us more income when they need every single penny themselves?

They did more to entice people back to the club.
How much do you think our share would be at the butts.
It doesnt need planning permission to play professional football. I gave up reading your tripe after that.
If we move it will be another stage accomplished in the shrinking of the club,Who knows? Certainly not you or I. If there is even a small chance of being at the Butts I would take it over staying at the Ricoh. Each to our own though.
If we move it will be another stage accomplished in the shrinking of the club,
Give it another 3 weeks. What happened to having to own our own ground?
I'm new on here. Looking at this though, I wonder what the rugby club can be thinking of. Haven't they noticed that anyone who gets involved with SISU ends up being dragged through the courts?
Cov Utd will be there next year, they will still be there in 5 years. Gawd only knows where CCFC will be?so how this all going to pan out hmmmm:
Coventry United to share Butts Park Arena with Coventry Rugby Club - BBC News
Get out while you can.I'm new on here
Well if they play on a Sunday Cov Rugger every other Saturday we fit in were we can.Cov Utd will be there next year, they will still be there in 5 years. Gawd only knows where CCFC will be?
Thay will need those bricks to get the project started. What happens to Jimmys statue, the garden of remembrance and my brick?
That ain't happening any time soon!!!If the organisers of the protest group want to move, they can move themselves.
Council will appeal and we will see no further action for another 25 years...Can't see any movement on a relocation until JR2 is complete. Fisher will do a 1 year rolling deal with Wasps until that point. By the sounds of it, Wasps need the cash.
If they lose JR2, they will either sell up an leave or have to start making proper plans to grow CCFC as a business. God knows what happens if they win JR2??
there creeping up the divisions in the might midland premier now, so that mean be us, cov united and cov rugby all playing at the butts.Cov Utd will be there next year, they will still be there in 5 years. Gawd only knows where CCFC will be?
A brand new 12,000 seater stadium built by someone else...Can't really argue with anything Sharp has said. Don't think any of our supporters would want a plan that had a negative impact on the rugby club.
If this is all a smoke screen I don't get what Sharp stands to benefit by assisting Fisher / SISU?
Not sure where the Planning Application rumour came from but I dont believe there is one in place. What has been suggested from a few official sources is that there are architect plans of a 15-25k stadium. (Apologies if I have got that bit wrong as it may be for a 25k stadium)
There would be no point putting in the Planning application before the bigger parts of the project are in place, namely here is the finance, as if the process got long winded and messy, or legal, your permission could eventually lapse.
Yes that's lapsed. Looking for the one supposedly currently in place for expansion of the current Butts Park Arena
If SISU bought into the Ricoh now they would also be buying into the debt to the bond holders. And this is much higher than the debt to CCC that they wouldn't take on.With Wasps being strapped for cash to meet their commitments and fisher states funding is in place why not make a cheeky offer to become co-owners of the Ricoh?
I dont understand this desire to move from the Ricoh, yes it's too big, yes it's soulless and yes it is on the edge of the city but why the fixation with BPA? Is it just to get away from Wasps? So becoming a tenant of a poorer stadium is the answer?
If our ambitions are to be league 2 then I get it, but if we want to get back to the heights we once scaled then the Ricoh is a vehicle to help us providing we can be more than tenants.
I don't profess to have intimate knowledge of this subject but to me if there is a window of opportunity to solve two problems then why not try it?
I had to laugh yesterday when somebody said that the Gilbert exclusive was going to be tWasps changing seat colors, well I suspect that is low down on their list of what to spend money on.
Thank you for that, I have no idea of the in and outs of Wasps structure. If SISU bought into the Ricoh now they would also be buying into the debt to the bond holders. And this is much higher than the debt to CCC that they wouldn't take on.
