That SISU have to now pay off SP's wages just to replace him with Hockaday? in February? Or have SISU really done the right thing here and decided to not risk relegation under SP's helm and try someone else? You'd imagine McFarlene will leave, so Hockaday a good replacement for Assistant Manager, or he just keeps the role he has at present if a new man comes in?
SISU and co obviously have acted because they do not want us relegated this season, why else would they sack SP? If they were never bothered about relegation?
You'll never see a thread like this again with someone who actually agrees with a SISU decision.
I really believe they'll bring someone one in, others don't.
They will start the search for a new manager, if Hockaday manages to do well in the meantime he will probably get it till the end of the season. If they don't do well they will appoint a new man.

Which is why i don't understand some people today thinking SISU have gone for the cheap option, today wouldn't of been cheap for them, and they obviously don't want CCFC dropping into League Two.
If they pull it off and we stay up, they deserve some praise. If SP did make all the signings, then his sacking was overdue.

I think there would definitely be some performance related clause where they could sack, whether it would be 3 months, 6 months, 12 months pay off who knows.
What experince does he have in a league 1 relegation battle? He managed to techniqually get forest green relegated with one of the biggest budgets in the conference. Cheap option but do we expect with sisu?
We just need someone that can pick the best 11 players and 5 subs for each game and set them up in a decent formation. The rest is up to the players. The problem is I'm not sure he's been here long enough to perform this role. He may have to get advice from the most senior players. I still see us being relegated, so we'll need a good manager to get us back up and that wont be Hockaday.
The trouble is, we hardly have any senior players left! Webster in terms of experience. Fleck in terms of time at the club. Sheesh, Barton is probably classed as a senior player too. We hardly have any stand-out characters, do we? Where's a Killer when you need one?
