I don’t tend to give up hope until pretty late in most games, but the general lassitude of our play made it hard to see a way back from even one down. At free kicks we were opting for so-called ‘off-the-training-ground’ routines, that, in the cold light of the Oxfordshire day, were just Biggie side-footing the ball to an opposition player. Excluding Burge, no one had a good game, but Biggie had an absolute ponger.

Sorry - a bit unclear. Page was the one who got asked to leave, because they needed to do something to the ground.

And the moron is Page, for saying "Do you know who I am?"

Presumably the answer should be, "yes, an unknown youth team player out on loan in League One"
