Wouldn't read in to that much
Wba looks well hard to me. Some teams fighting for their life in final 3
It's a bit of a stretch putting this many sides in the hunt for the playoffs.
Norwich are gone if they don't beat WBA. 8 points behind them with 8 games to go. 10 behind us.
Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday 8 points behind us.
Blackburn have got 1 point so far this month. 3 defeats on the bounce. 7 points behind us.
Middlesbrough are still in it. Not a bad run of games remaining but very inconsistent. Drew with Luton last game. 7 points behind us.
Can't see anything but 2 from us, WBA and Bristol City for the last 2 places. Middlesbrough could join the party but would need to go on a good run.
WBA are a capable side. This month alone got a point at Leeds and Burnley. Last game drew at home to Hull.
Bristol City are a decent side but have a difficult run in. Their game against WBA in a couple of weeks will be interesting.
Plus GD. That's a lot to catch up with just 8 games to go. But I'm more interested in the gap to us and them. That's 8 points plus GD. They can go past all the rest of them for what I care. All the teams are within six points of the playoffs calm down.
It's the Championship, anything could happen. The facts currently are that we're in one of the box seats, it's in our hands and we're in form. For us not to achieve now would take a tremendous drop off in our form, but nothing is certain and we could yet still pay for some of that early season failure.
What I do know is that it will be exciting, there will be twists and turns ahead but it's just nice to be part of it. This is where real football is at. I want the financial benefits of one season in the PL, but that will be a season long struggle and as we're unlikely to challenge at the top end of the PL, then give me in and around the Championship play-offs every season and I'll be happy.
Reading isn't for you is itEvery season? So you never want to see us in the Prem at all? Very odd
I don't think we can assume that early season results would have made much difference if they were better. MR would almost certainly still be here if early results were better, would we have had the same recent run under him? It's the Championship, anything could happen. Don’t Live We We Live We Don’t We?DLWWLWDW
Sounds good dont you thinkDon’t Live We We Live We Don’t We?
Yes, the ratings thing is over my head but there's only 3 points between top and bottom, surely it's stats for stats sake. Bottom line, it's in our own hands which is nice.Wouldn't read in to that much

So many seasons when we not even near 8th or 9th place after allYes, the ratings thing is over my head but there's only 3 points between top and bottom, surely it's stats for stats sake. Bottom line, it's in our own hands which is nice.
MR did not have a coaching team as such. We’d have been mid-table at best. The players needed quality coaching. It was better that there was a fresh start.I don't think we can assume that early season results would have made much difference if they were better. We will never know, but can't assume we would have.
And only a difference of about 0.4 percentage points between us and anyone important in mix,so negligible, only if we fall off a cliff does anyone have a chance over these last 8 games,Yes, the ratings thing is over my head but there's only 3 points between top and bottom, surely it's stats for stats sake. Concede first we can go home. Can't see us getting anything out of Burnley, conceding just 11 goals in 38 games is ridiculous.
We’re miles of the top 3I think we’re a top 6-10th team, if we finish anywhere in that bracket then that’s where we’ll deserve to be, small margins
True, but finish 5 th and its prob Sunderland over 2 games, that’s do able , then it’s a 1 off game at Wembley, anything could happen, just Get play offs and give ourselves a chanceWe are miles off the top 3
It’s not inconceivable that Plymouth and Luton are both down when we play them. Not sure if that helps or hindersIt's the 4 home games which are massive.
On paper, the away games are favourable but I don't like the idea of going to Hull (we're shite playing away at night), Luton (they'll be fighting for their life) and Plymouth (see above).
You only have to look at Derby, Pompey and Cardiff away. We even lost to Stoke away from home.
Not relegation threatened? We’re miles of the top 3
much better than 9th lower
it’s 4 teams for 2 spots
