The stats don't lie and the woodwork had a good day out as well. But...City looked good, the Fulham manager said we were the better team, and our play off the ball was better. We defended enough. They had a few dodgy times in the game as well. That goalmouth scramble was entertaining. That sort of justifies why our possession was less than Fulham's. It's hard to see how they had 28 shots on goal. In my opinion, the whole team deserved Man of the Match. We rode our luck at times but deserved the win.
Edit, I watched on Ifollow and I thought the game flowed well with fewer injuries or interrruptions. The timewasting booking was understandable.
