This increasingly contagious event appears to be happening more and more just seconds before kick off and makes me laugh in increasing amounts. A call to arms, a time for the team to galvanise itself into a ruthless machine, to intimidate the opposition or just to show off yet another tattoo ? Just what does go on in that huddle . Whatever it is , it ain't working. Stop it now, before I crack a rib.

Do they actually talk to each other , or do they just lean in and someone says "just stand like this for 30 seconds" ?

Or maybe they're having a last minute giggle amongst themselves - look at those stupid fans paying to watch us play like shite and get paid for it ?

The 'huddle' is a Celtic thing also the NFL lot do it,maybe we need a wall of death at the end of a loss so we can kick the players who never performed.

You need to look closely.

Get your binoculars out next time and you will see them playing rock, paper, scissors and eenie, meenie, miney, moe.

They also do the hilarious guess how many fingers I am holding up game.
