I need a place where i can admit I’m just a frcking hypocrite but would never admit it openly….

Big noise in the Covkid household this week with the wife booking tickets to travel to Lisbon to watch Bryan Fecking Adam’s in concert. I’ve gone nuts at the total waste of time and money whilst being fully aware that if City ever got to Europe I’d be going for a 90 minute game…. No matter what cost.

Of course I’ll never admit that to her… but the forum is a safe place to open up about the blatant hypocrisy of football fans… and maybe men in general!!!

Is she a particularly big fan and going to every show or something? He’s at the NEC in May and played in Cov not long ago!

Nah, I think they were in successive years, with Adam's beating the record for longest No. 1.

If they'd been in the same year then over half the year would have been taking up with two songs at no. 1

Edit: Just checked and WWW was 1994, BA was 1991. So not sure why I thought Adam's had beaten their record, but his is still the longest (16 weeks v 15 weeks)

Oh, and the song that knocked Wet Wet Wet off was.....

Saturday Night by Whigfield!

I don't think it's a waste of money to go abroad to see a concert (stop short at Bryan Adams though) but also don't think it would be to go and watch Cov.

If you can afford it, do it. I fucking detest this idea that spending money on non essentials is wasted. It's as if humans are just animals that just need sustenance and shelter.

The only band I would go to see abroad would be a Led Zeppelin reunion with Jason Bonham representing his dad.

I remember mate of mine flying to New York, just to go and watch Devo in concert.

Fly over, saw the gig, flew straight back again.
