Wasn't she talking about ARVO. Different fund. ARVO have put money in in the last few years.

The SISU Capital Limited Hedge Fund investors are owed £28.5m according to the 2014 accounts. Those investors have not invested any money in CCFC since 2011/2012. There has been speculation previously that some of those investors are linked to American universities and their prospective pension funds.

“The club is not for sale. In the past year alone we have put millions into the club and committed £60 million over time. We have not taken a penny out of the club. I want return on my investment”.

Ah shit yeah, forgot this was an accountants forum rather than one for footy fans.

Was just hoping somebody like OSB could explain what it all means for the people who just know about football.

I can put it simply.

SISU made a decision that Joy wouldn't make now. They have put millions in and have nothing of value so won't be selling in a hurry. She wants a return on the investment. She won't be putting any more money in.

Other than that all is well.

It simply means that 'somebody' owns the club. Those 'somebody' are owned by 'somebody else'.
At the end of the day there's not really anything new. It's a piece written to scare us. It will work on those already scared.

All the numbers have previously been dissected a thousand times.

It will be because I saw it posted on twitter by a SBT committee member. As you are so certain about peoples motives can you tell me what his angle is?

By the way what is your angle, you as always post a defence of anything that makes SISU look bad? (in this case an indirect defence to deflect discussion away from the topic of the blog which is ARVO/SISU/CCFC ownership).

What an odd article to write. Appears to be a very long winded way of saying ARVO and SISU are all part of the group and they have both put more in than they could sell for.

Why is it odd? I'm glad you understand at least part of the conclusions drawn by article, you don't have to agree with them, I'm not sure I do 100%.

There's plenty to worry about.
As long as the club is dependent on somebody to bank roll it we may worry. Be it investors or a bank - there's always the risk they want their money back at some point.

Would bank have lost Its loans at the point of Admin/Liquidation
Could they have taken equity in return for their loss?

TM will be off then..

Next season premier teams will get £10m per game and those relegated will get such a massive parachute payment that no one will be able to compete with them in the championship..
We are totally finished under Sisu and I don't ever see a way back for us to the championship

The first two paragraphs demonstrate why the game is finished. SISU are a symptom of its problems. The club has been fucked by 15 years or so since it sold Highfield Rd.

That's no investment from SISU or AVRO as they want the club to be self sufficient rather than them having to pump millions in every year. To be fair they haven't made a secret of that. The downside for us is if they can achieve that they can hang around almost indefinitely hoping for a miracle to get their money back.

They never will though will they?
No new investment and they sell anyone who can tie a boot lace leaves us finished as a club..

We will just bounce around league 1 & possibly 2 for years with no money and no ambition to climb the leagues...

I think that would be a problem Chief. No investment would mean a team based roughly on the same as we have now, this would mean relegation at some point. The further they go down the league structure the closer they and we are to the abyss. The only way they can look to recoup any of their money is to get them back into the championship and then sell, that is going to take investment whether they like it or not, until that happens we are at our natural level. The self fulfilling prophecy is biting them in the arse, you need to invest to get promotion to get more money by attracting more fans and selling more merchandise and so it goes on, we all know it even Sisu I would hope but their in lies another problem have they got the money to make an investment? After reading the link I would say that they are reliant on everyone else's money and not their own, and everyone else has decided not to play ball any more.
