It's one of the designated away pubs I think?Christ, have been in there a few times.
I don't get it to be honest either, wonder if it will end up being shut down?
Imagine it will for a few weeks whilst the investigation is underway so can't imagine it will be open by the time we visit. We used to drink in there and The Castle.Christ, have been in there a few times.

Any Blackpool v Cov tickets out there i need 2 if poss?It kicked off inside and then outside on Saturday night after Blackpool v Burnley and sadly a Blackpool fan lost his life this morning.
All those wannabe hooligans take note its not worth losing your life over a football match. The amount of idiots we had looking for trouble after the game on Saturday was embarrassing.
Blackpool attack: Football fan dies after post-match brawl at pub
Blackpool FC pay tribute to "lifelong Seasider" Tony Johnson and lay flowers at the ground.www.bbc.co.uk
It looks like he swung punches and tried to kick another fan, and took a punch back, self defence?
my sons 37 and it worries the shite out of me every time he goes to out at nights or football! I say to him all the time be careful the towrags today dont give a fuck and stab you with out any concience what so ever. such a worry!Jesus wept
How do we reckon it will be up there when we go? Hasnt there been some history when we were at st andrews? They attempted to rush the roost or something didnt they?
Agree before and immediately after the game but Blackpool is a rough night out at the best of times, groups of lads running until the early hours (like with this tragic incident) will still be on the cards. There will be naff all bother. Police will be all over it, especially now.
Still a very isolated incident and anyone who's seen the video will know that if you didn't want to be involved you could have walked away.
Sad waste of life and a tough lesson learned for many.

Firstly, I can’t believe people post up these videos when they’re obviously aware of the nature of the content.Seen a video of it. It's pathetic to be fair.
Life lost, for what? Another one will be ruined.
Whilst I agree with all of what you've said, I bet you still watched it? I did.Firstly, I can’t believe people post up these videos when they’re obviously aware of the nature of the content.
Secondly, I can’t believe the social networks don’t immediately remove them from public view, as soon as they’re aware of the nature of the content.
It must be absolutely horrendous for the deceased’s family and loved ones to know his last moments are being shared and viewed online as a means of entertainment.
Not to mention how it could affect the police investigation and any potential case bought against anyone in the future.
Pathetic, that aspect of it especially isn't it.I haven’t seen the video but what I have read illustrates what I thought, looks like this chap put himself on offer and it also looks like he would have been quite happy dishing out a few right & left hooks himself. At 56 ffs.
I'd edit that to simply hooligan, nothing to do with football. Two hours after the game and away from the ground, every opportunity to have gone back to his family but went looking for a scrap.Pathetic, that aspect of it especially isn't it.
Football hooligan in your mid 50's?
I wonder if Blackpool are considering a minute's silence/applause. If it is true that he went looking for trouble then Blackpool should scrap that & with the rest of EFL/PL/FA use this tragedy to highlight how ridiculous this was and all hooliganism is.I haven’t seen the video but what I have read illustrates what I thought, looks like this chap put himself on offer and it also looks like he would have been quite happy dishing out a few right & left hooks himself.
