Nice to see the Eagles spank Dallas last night. As the commentary team said "it doesn't matter who is at QB, this O-line gets the job done" (yeah, unless you are playing the Commanders, seemingly!). Pickens was Ok, but McKee did really well at stand-in.

Vikings again showed how you can completely dominate a game until the last few minutes then nearly blow it when you can't adapt to a no-huddle offense.

Washington should have put Atlanta away a bit earlier. Fantastic by Daniels though.

Also lovely to watch that game while chilling on the beach.

Bucs go to the post season and Evans ties Jerry Rice’s consecutive 1,000 yard seasons record

Bucs Commanders is going to be a great game, one of the more even matchups in the wildcard round I feel.

Tampa did take it earlier in the season but Washington and Daniel’s have improved a lot since then.

Added spice of Evan’s Lattimore too

Amazing defensive performance by Lions last night, especially considering injuries/absences. Thought it was going to be a shout out but lions really showed they’re a serious contender.

Big for Washington to miss Eagles in play offs. Gutted bengals didn’t squeak in, not great defensively but reckon they would’ve given most teams a better game than some that got ie Texans, Steelers etc

Absolutely amazing game. Was a 12pm kick off here, luckily my manager wasn’t in so I strategically placed my phone near my laptop but hidden away so managed to watch it without getting caught.

Took all my strength not to jump up when that FG doinked in.

Will likely lose to the lions but the future is finally bright.

Lot of fuss being made about Lions's loss. But the Lions and us (Vikings) didn't really play many good teams in the regular season. AFC South and NFC west were our divisional games and they generally massively underperformed.
Vikings were a 7/8 win team with the bookies pre-season based on perceived strength of schedule.
Always wondered what would happen when a team could get past that Lions O line.
Been saying all season I didn't think the NFC was particularly good - quite a few NFC teams building towards being something good but a year or two away.

Amazing set up in the NFC Championship Game next week.

Don't think anyone should underestimate the Commanders, sixth seed but a stronger in season record than most. This team demands your respect!

Mclaurin has always been immense but the team are now playing up to his standards now, hell of a game coming up in the NFC Championship Game.

I wonder if Hurts will be fully fit.

The Commanders beat the Eagles last time out, but Hurts wasn't QB that day, due to the concussion protocol.

Commanders have gone much much further than anybody could expect so just being here is magic. A loss would be no shame.

Everything is falling in place at the right time. Could never bet against Jayden and if we are a score apart late on then you’d trust him.

Also two teams playing 4 down football.

Yup. Absolutely thrilled we got this far.

The first few mins of the Lions game, I thought we in for a right old mullering. They were cutting through us like butter. The longer the game went on though, we took control and always stayed that one step ahead of them.

Turnovers were a massive help too of course.

Washington surprised me how effective they were in all departments. It wasn't even that close in the end, thanks to the bonkers second quarter.
Hurts looked a bit of a liability for the Birds, with that safety and the number of yards he lost with sacks, but the defense stepped up and limited Stafford's choices.
Daniels and the Commanders are coming good just at the right time and they could cause problems at the Linc next weekend.

So ... predictions for tonight? I don't think KC have really been challenged this regular season, so coming up against a strong Bills team with Josh Allen firing on all cylinders, although they got a bit lucky with that 2pt conversion miss by Baltimore last week.

I think the NFC game is too close to call. It's not going to snow in Philly, which MIGHT have been their advantage, but Daniels is on fire! Detroit (and Minnesota) flattered to deceive because the North division is so weak this year, so Washington winning out there wasn't so much of a surprise despite the seeding.

I'm hoping for a Birds-Bills Bowl, but it could be any of the 4 permutations!

The chiefs game will depend on how near the bills are allowed to get to Mahomes before they are covered in flags.

I obviously want a Washington-Kansas final.

Commanders being my team and I just admire Mahomes so much.

Also, dislike the Eagles and Bills

I do think that's what it's going to be though.

Well, watched both games. The Commanders really shot themselves in the foot. They were in the game for long periods, but coughed up four turnovers and each and every one resulted in an Eagles TD.

Lots of other mistakes too and some very poor tackling and defense.

Still proud of how far they went though and hopefully they can kick on further next season.

The Chiefs-Bills game, was a very tense and entertaining affair.

It was nip and took for so long, but on the final drive, Josh Allen seemed to suddenly panic and was making mistakes and over throwing the ball.

The last play of the drive though sealed it. Kansas went for a full on blitz and Allen had to throw really early and it dropped short.

Think he was surprised by the velocity of the blitz.

Mahomes is still a magician and I will be now rooting for Kansas and Mr Taylor Swift to make history, and seal that 3rd win in a row.

They will surely tackle Barclay much better than the Commanders did.

It will be interesting to see how Hurts copes with the KC defense - he lost so many yards from sacks against the Rams, i think he may well panic as Allen did last night.
My main reason for hoping for an Eagles win (other than that they are my boys) is to put Taylor Swift back in her box. It's not about her - it's football!

Yeah, but it IS about Mr. Taylor Swift for sure.

I bet he makes better records than her too

I think Dallas Goedert is a more effective tight-end than Kelce currently.

Eagles just a much better team overall than Washington and that's what did it. The turnovers obviously a huge factor but you don't make so many mistakes without playing a much superior opponent. That Eagles team is better in every position (apart from QB) and has been built to win over many years.

Still a very exciting future for Washington finally.

chiefs v bills was an absolute classic for drama, tenseness etc. Just always felt chiefs defence would nick it for them

shame about commanders. Turnovers did it. Barkley is just a game changer though ! Can’t believe Giants didn’t pay him

Barkley may be the most entertaining athlete to watch in any sport on the planet right now.

That being said, I hope the Chiefs smash the Eagles, cannot stand Philly sports fans of any persuasion.

If you're looking at their last games, I'd say Ertz is more effective than both of them. Hope he gets another season in Washington, feels good to see him enjoying his football again.

Besides, I think Kelce has slowed down a bit since his retirement. Can't stand how every time the camera pans to Travis, the only thing people ever talk about is that hungry dog brother of his

No team has won the East twice in 20 years so things looking positive for the Commanders for next season given Giants are in a rebuild and Dallas sucks.

Mad that the biggest number of points the Chiefs have put up all season is in the Championship game against the Bills. They always seem to manage to turn it on when it matters.

Yeah. I expect them to do it again and bag their 3rd Superbowl win.

Need a plan against Barclay though.

I think you are right about Ertz. He was very impressive, and has been during the Commanders' romp to the play-offs. Can't believe Philly let HIM go!

So many pundits have this SB as a one score game. About 2 to 1 favouring the Chiefs. Mahomes has led the Chiefs to quite a lot of one score wins this season.
Something very Patriot-like with this Chiefs team- strong defense, not many stars on offense but a QB who knows how to get it done.
Wouldn't be surprised to see the Eagles start strong then it's down to how the Chiefs react.
