Teams have broken inexperienced QBs this way before. McCoy was fit so play him.
Haskins has so much more to do than other rookie QBs because of his extremely limited college experience.

I was there. Thought it was a bit flat to be honest. There was that glimmer as the Bengals levelled but then the Rams moved up a gear and pulled away pretty easily.

49ers looking the team to beat in the NFC. Pounded the Panthers. All about GW12 when they face the Packers.

surprised they didn’t try to squeeze a few more yards up the pitch. They had time for one more effort pre field goal

Was thinking exactly the same thing. I think they could have easily had one more play.

Just terrible QB play and coaching. Nagy has to take as much of the blame as Trubisky

Starting tonight ahead of McCoy. Not the easiest defence to make your 1st proper start against in the Bills.

Ah, well he has to learn sometime doesn't he. Just try and protect him and let him make mistakes if he is to be the future.

Give him the season though, let him learn on the job and use the high draft pick to protect him.

You don't draft a QB then it'll be Young. Best player in the draft.

Bears 9 yards offense in 1st half. Pretty screwed as they've little chance of drafting a new QB having given up their 1st & 3rd round picks for Khalil Mack

Not sure I like the look of Haskins thus far. Seems to have no disguise in his locker and a lot of his throws seem rather looped and aired, which could prove costly.

I actually think he’s made some good throws and with a better O line would be a decent qb. That throw to Richardson on 3rd down was something else. I wouldn’t have expected it from cousins for instance.

Cousins puzzles the hell out of me. He can't have suddenly become a great QB.

I’m watching the Vikings Chiefs game in a bar with a friend that doesn’t have a clue about NFL and he was still very critical of Cousins throwing to nobody.

His weaknesses are masked very well by the players he has around him.

When we can't run the ball Cousins falls off. Also teams double team Diggs and it cuts off the options with Thielen and Beebe out injured.
Obviously something in this business about his record against teams with winning records.

I swear kickers are cursed in Seattle, Jason Myers was in the Pro Bowl last year and looked shaky as anything last night. I miss Steven Hauschka.

Your schedule looks like its going to be fun, apart from the 2 games vs the NFC East whipping boys you could end up anywhere from 14-2 to 10-6. Id given you my prediction but I'm sure I'd never live it down...

lol agree but in a way its good. playoffs look pretty much secured be it div winners or wildcard. but now is time to find out if good enough to win it all and if not what need to improve before playoffs start

exciting times but still need a bit more on offence, need marquez scantling back, hes capable of a big play

The winning kick last night was even a bit wobbly. Big pressure kick though, it went through and that's all that matters

He is some player that Russell Wilson.

I think it would be great to see a Superbowl, Wilson Vs Mahomes.

Lamar Jackson on the superbowl stage would be interesting too. He's got some ridiculous moves
