I really enjoyed the game...good end to end football. Yes of course there were mistakes, and yes some players were having a bad hair day, but our attitude and energy on the field this season is a joy to watch. Show me a team that doesn't have an off day, or 'get it wrong'....we damn nearly won the game. Under Pressley, when we were 2-1 down we'd have tried to defend that and stop us shipping more goals!! And it looks like Murphy is going to be massive for us. Personally I'd like to see Armstrong pass the ball more....he did miss a couple of golden opportunities for a telling pass, and chose to go it alone too often...but I'm sure TM won't have missed that and will sort it out. In fact he was better in the second half... And of course another big positive is TM's match summary...doesn't miss a thing or pull any punches...great stuff!
I agree. Fully enjoyed last night result aside as I would of loved a win. But it was end to end and a couple of penalties. 4 goals a few cards and fast decent football.
It will encourage people to go again I am sure. Watching some games last year was bloody awful but already I have been to a few games and it's exciting and refreshing.
Some more wins and you will get more interested again. I really think there is a chance of top 10 this year and if we can push for 6th then great.
Have to echo those sentiments, despite the weather we had a great night all told. Nice dinner and a few beers at the Greyhound, park the car for £4, walk up the canal { although a bit slippy and dark on the return } to a buzzing Ricoh where the atmosphere is so improved. It was a good entertaining game of football which if their keeper wasn't on such form would have been another win. We paid £18 for our tickets, which I consider fair and went home feeling like we'd watched some decent stuff. Looking forward to the next match !
It doesn't even compare to last seasons dross, the team needs a couple of additions to reinforce against a long season but the way they are trying to do things is admirable and we now have a handful of players who can do the opposition real damage by running at them !
PUSB !
Last season at home we were so bad people would chat throughout, play with torches on their phones etc.
Its been a joy this season so far and even if it doesn't work out and we finish 8th but play attacking entertaining football ,il be happy.

Last night I was sold a seat and only used the edge of it. Only missed the Wigan game at home so far as I was out the country but after 2 games for the first time ever I'm seriously considering buying a season ticket because I've enjoyed the 2 games so much I feel like i dont want to miss a game.
