That seems to show a puddle on the path in the corner of the ground
Is that any better for you Steveo?

Sixfields top quality playing surface, would be interesting to compare with the Ricoh today
The goalmouth looks wet . got anymore?
Wet? That is pure mud. And it won't get any better. And with two 'home' teams playing on it I would say it will deteriorate much more. BTW it is the wrong time of the year for more grass to grow however good the groundsman is. And patching it up won't work either.
Remember driving down the A 14 for that one, snow ice and fog make it treacherous to say the least. I've never seen so much rain over a period than we've had so far this winter."If Saturday’s game is called off it will be the first time City have had a ‘home’ match postponed in 17 years, the last time being an FA Cup tie with Woking at Highfield Road that fell victim to snow in January 1997.
The Ricoh Arena has never had a game postponed."
If the pitch is that rough already, then it's going to be knackered by the end of Feb with two teams playing on it. That certainly isn't going to help our style of football, and it probably doesn't help in terms of injuries either.
I doubt this was given any real consideration by our owners, but I suspect it will become an issue on the playing side.
Cant blame the weather on sisu
And it isn't any of their fault that two clubs have Northampton as their 'home' ground either?
Bit like the Ricoh last season. If the pitch is that rough already, then it's going to be knackered by the end of Feb with two teams playing on it. That certainly isn't going to help our style of football, and it probably doesn't help in terms of injuries either.
What's that got to do with rain and wet pitches
Cant blame the weather on sisu
The Ricoh is said to be in a very good condition. No teams playing on it. Northamptons ground is in bad condition with two 'home' teams.
Or is it just a coincidence that the goalmouth is in a poor condition if it has nothing to do with players playing on it?
Cant blame the weather on sisu
Makes you wonder how football clubs that share with egg chasing clubs make do. I'm pretty sure its not unique to Sixfields having muddy goalmouths. It has rained lot.
The goalmouth looks wet . got anymore?
There isn't many clubs that do share like that.....and I would say they don't try playing a passing game like we do these days. And I would also guess that they lose games to the weather most seasons.
By August we'll be threatened with hosepipe bans because of the drought { 3 dry weeks in the summer}Makes you wonder how football clubs that share with egg chasing clubs make do. I'm pretty sure its not unique to Sixfields having muddy goalmouths. It has rained lot.

It's sad that the world is this way, so many people once they have an opinion thats it, they defend that opinion, things that should change that opinion are dismissed, discarded, rationalised away, all sorts of things are used to strengthen that opinion even when they should do the opposite.
You shouldn't feel too bad about yourself though it's something that the majority of people suffer from, you just need to challenge yourself occasionally, relook at things and come to a fresh conclusion. Do the facts really support what I believe.
That said there would be a hell of alot less posts on this forum if people stopped defending the indefensible.
What, you mean about the weather?
they will play in the park before they come back to the Ricoh!
