My brother in law works at the ricoh in management and i beleive they are doing better than they've ever done. No football equals more events and more events equals more money!
CCFC was a small part of their income so cant see them being too bothered (from a business point of view) from the point of view of seing CCFC back in Cov then im sure they are bothered.
I live local and shop at arena park, most wknds it seems very busy and something going on there.
When we failed to pay for the build of the stadium no one could imagine the shit that it would cause long term, we were grateful for the council and the Alan Higgs Trust for getting us over the line and getting our new ground open, yes the same group that some are saying they couldn't give a toss about now.
Then when things went tits up we were begging for a saviour and in came SISU to the rescue(or so we thought): Things are never as they seem are they?
Across the M69 Leicester were in a bad way, as bad as us, and have moved forward from a div 3 position back in to the premier league, we have gone down that road in the other direction. Oh how we laughed on that last day of the season in 2008........despite the most limp performance by a club in trouble ever at the Valley.
The Ricoh is the only option for CCFC and without it being an option we are in the deepest shit imaginable. It must not stop being an option or we die.
I detest SISU with every bone in my body but I am forced to recognise them as the current custodians of the club and wish they would pull back from this adversarial stance they seem to adopt to all comers. This is why they have ripped the heart and threaten the soul of the club and why its almost over for many supporters, its like being related to Fred west, you know you are but wish you weren't.
I wonder what we will be saying a decade from now and where we will be in the pyramid and where will our home be?
if things at a football stadium are going amazingly well without a football team then it makes you wonder why they put that big green bit in the middle in the first place.

they might be asking themselves the same question and where would that leave us? sixfields? imagination land in the coventry "area" ? its time sisu stopped playing games with our club. there was a good offer made through the FL, i'm not suggesting they should accept that offer but it should have been the olive branch and starting point for some serious negotiations on a return to the ricoh. either perm or temp.

It was for a football team that had sold their ground and squandered the money.
Who further lost money and then asked a charity to help them out in the short term.
Sisu were not responsible for above but still hope to capitalise on it.
