Who is to blame or not for the timing of this takeover saga?
This story has completely taken us away from football but the business of CCFC.
Is this SISU trying to ensure they pocket cash from last minute player sales etc by deadline day and then they will sanction the takeover? The last chance saloon to make something back?
or
Is this a tactical game to prolong this into the season for SISU to realise nobody else will invest in CCFC anymore as their bank balance falls further into the red?
Very interesting to see what games are being played here.
I think it's just bad luck. It's probably taken Hoffman a long time to get this group together because investors would want a while to think it over before commiting to something like buying a football club.
So what possible reason do SISU want this to drag on? The club goes further into the red each month?
To me they thought a counter offer might come in do start a bidding war with Project Hoffman. Also, they thought Hoffman might want to invest with them as partners. But that ain't happening.
Look at what has happened over the last 12 months.
Ranson left.
Hoffman left.
Joe E suspended.
Player contracts never renewed for Fox, Dann, King etc..
Would be interesting to know at some point when Hoff was still on the board that some of these investors were already introduced to sisu to help with investing... but something could have gone wrong along the way. The investors that Hoff introduced saw something that meant they wanted the club for themselves...
Anyway, timing of this is just awful but we live in hope of stability one day at CCFC.
Yes, absolutely. Let's say they sell Cranie for 500k then that's the companies total losses for the last year covered. Sell the club before end of Aug and they have no quick fix option. Pretty much every player we have is being hawked about as of last week.

So do you think we could see the likes of Turner, Juke, Clingan and Cranie etc. sold by the end of the window?
But surely Hoffman and his group know the risks of allowing SISU to sell these players will result in most certain relegation. Can't Hoffman compensate SISU for the sale of these players, or give them all the money from Scott Dann possible transfer so they don't sell our star players.
I'm afraid it is true and is why I'm purposely trying not to post at the moment as I'm probably not in a very objective position. What will happen next? That's the tough call. If I had to be pushed to gamble I'd say GH and co will eventually get control, what we're seeing now is the start of the end game if you like. What concerns me most is what might happen between now and the window closing.
I have concerns that they flog whoever they can for what ever they get. Also because they are not going to be about they will just want quick cash deals which means they are not going to be interested in things like sell on clauses.
