I have taken the below quote from another thread which will probably in the near future erupt into another Sisu vs CCCouncil arguement however, Scottie's question is a good one:

SkyBlueScottie said:
Why are you not trying to engage in a meaningful dialogue with the club rather than dreaming up initiatives for people to attend other sports?

So my question along with Scottie's to the Trust would be, Are you currently trying to repair relationships with the Club and Do you even intend to?

Is there anyone from the Trust on the forum who can answer this?

You do realise the club has recently sent a threatening letter to the Trust? Or maybe you missed it.....

So the question to you is what the fuck are a Sisu doing to repair relationships, with the trust, Coventry, the fans...?

Firstly Robbo doesn't every thread?! In answer to your question we are always open to talks with all parties. We really are trying our best to build bridges where they need to be built no matter where fault lies for them collapsing in the first place.

Not sure, but I would have thought that if you start with the premise that SISU have a clear Plan A (distress ACL and obtain Ricoh at a cheap price), then what is there to discuss (as far as our owners are concerned)? If they were to succeed in Plan A, it appears that the majority who want Cov back in Cov will be appeased (regardless of their thoughts about the owners)and SISU can then start to make money (though who for is contentious ! ) That's why I think that they aren't that bothered about talking to anybody.

To be fair, Steve will hopefully come on and post. I think things are being done behind the scenes but don't know since that letter.

No must have missed it, not like people have been talking about it continousally??

Before I get embroiled in an arguement where we say "The Trust did this and Sisu did that" can I remind you GPE that the Trust openly questioned the Football League awarding Otium the Golden Share which gave us the right to play, whether right or wrong there was no alternative.

Both sides have done wrong, but how can the Trust and the Club move this forward?? The Trust has the biggest following of members that I am aware of and I am sure all of them would like answers as well?

I think this thread is actually about what the TRUST are doing and not SISU. We are all aware of what SISU are doing what Robo does not know is what are the Trust doing.

Besides how is Robo supposed to know what SISU are doing to repair the relationships anymore than you or me?

What would the Trust entering meaningful dialogue with the club actually achieve? Thinking about reality as opposed to bright blue skies.

Well that's open to debate I am sure

As I said CJ I appreciate that, but I also don't want to embroil another thread over an arguement regarding whether who burnt bridges and what the parties have done in the past to upset the other.

However isn't the above what has been the problem through this whole saga? That there has been issues on both sides yet neither side is mutual to put their hands up and start again?

The SBT as I said is the biggest Supporters Members Group there is, Are they going to turn their back on the Club now as well?

What are the Trust supposed to be entering dialogue with the club over?

Communication.

Do you think if the relationship had been better between the Trust and the Club then maybe we would be more in the light regarding a new stadium or the potential of?

Why not leave this conversation to the adults eh? Robo has asked a sensible question and a member of the trust has entered into sensible dialogue. People like you, not SISU really are ruining this forum.

The communication always wasn't the best even before the letter due to the anti SISUness of the Trust and how "in" they were with ACL / Haskell and those promises from Haskell that kind of let them up the path. It sort of looks promising from Steve's comments about people moving about / leaving so hopefully it will be different now.

People now keep going on about the Trust looking into starting a new club which wouldn't be a good move.

It's a serious question. He obviously thought so as well as he came back with an answer.

Didn't mean to like this - must have fat fingers.

The Trust have been pushing reconciliation and talks for ages now. SISU don't want talks. They want a free stadium.

It's now time for the fans to stop being victims and kick SISU in the nuts. We provide the revenue - without us SISU have nothing.

Its a one way relationship. Do as we say and don't argue with us I'm afraid.
Nobody can influence Sisue.

Beyond NOPM how is it proposed that we kick SISU in the nuts? I give nothing at all to CCFC at present, what else should I do? It does seem that SISU are self financing and the lack of income from the club is not affecting them.

I'm not so sure Fernando, more could be done from both sides (won't argue that), both sides have made mistakes (won't argue that either), however what Members of The Trust ought to be thinking is "What is the Trust's aim right now?" The SCG has spoken to Joy once and constantly in contact with Fisher, do you think the Trust may have had the same opportunity had things not gone sour down the line irrespective of who's fault it was?

I believe in forming a fan owned club. In SISU sod off then great, we'll incorporate the breakaway club.

We need to show SISU who's boss.

Sorry richh87 but I can't understand what the Ricoh Arena has to do with The Trust?

I thought Coventry United had already been started, do you go and support them in the same way you did CCFC?

Starting a pub football team isn't showing anybody who is boss though? They are still boss as they "own" the club we love.

The thing is, the Trust has to listen to all of it's members and not just the ones who make it to the Squirrel.

The Trust represents the fans. The fans' tax money built the Ricoh. We don't want it gifted to SISU.

SISU are vultures. If they got their hands on the Ricoh then believe it or not things could get even worse.

Fan owned Club is great but would you get the support for it with regards to the MK Dons - AFC Wimbledon example? I would assume no.

Coventry United came on here in the summer when they were formed and categorically stated that they were not a breakaway club for CCFC supporters.

It wouldn't be a pub team either - AFC Wimbledon and FC United aren't pub teams - and we have more support than Wimbledon, or the few Man Utd fans who cared about the Glaziers.

Why, there are 10,000 people sat at home on a Saturday wondering what to do!

The trouble the Trust have, is with ACL and SISU there is no trust. Horses and water comes to mind? Or should that be Eagles, Turkeys, Lions and Donkeys?

I don't know why anyone thinks SISU want a chat over a cup of tea. It baffles me.

They are ruthless and want a free stadium.

So if they all want to watch a Coventry team in Coventry why aren't Sphinx or Copsewood getting huge gates?

Any proof they want a stadium for free or just making things up? This isn't me defending, it is questioning your statements.

Because they are clubs with their own identities. Why didn't Man U fans opposing the Glaziers go and follow Bury?

Rightly or wrongly I would like to see the club own the stadium, even under current owners. I would however like to see a clause in the sale/gift stating that it must remain property of the company that own the football league share for xxx years.

As I don't live in Cov I don't think my tax money built the Ricoh either.
