I remember chatting to a bloke after the 2-1 Forest win, when Fadz scored at the death, in the casino immediately after. He was excitedly saying in relation to us grabbing a goal in the 90th+ minute, “we just don’t do this. It never happens for us”.What's incredible is that when most of us grew up watching this club, moments like yesterday happened once every 4 or 5 years. Now they happen 4 or 5 times a season.
In my lifetime (I'm 40 this year) there has never been a better time to support the club. It doesn't matter what division you're in, wins breed positivity and grow the fanbase.
I think we're more or less guaranteed a top half finish this year, so I can say this with confidence. In the last 10 seasons, we've finished in the top half 8 times. That is the sort of consistency that grows the fanbase and changes its belief in football.
That is why the place is now overrun with kids, and kids that genuinely want to be there.
How it used to be was that if you saw anyone under the age of 15 in the ground, they looked bored stiff and were only there because they were too young to be left at home alone

Gary Weaver is a way better commentator than anyone Sky have on premier league coverage
Hes my favourite commentator tbh, and I'm sure a lot on here will agree
Also, unpopular opinion but I like Lee Hendries punditry
What a finish by Bobbylike Saddlebrains I’ve watched it back so many times. I’m gutted because there’s a fantastic video on X which shows the whole of the East Stand and Singers Corner go absolutely mental, limbs everywhere. It’s from near enough pitch side, I can’t find it now. Enjoy your Sunday everyone! PUSB
Titanic music isnt good enough for Clives poetryHas anyone got Clive's commentary?
Would love to hear him fall off his chair. If we can throw some titanic music in, even better.
Christ it actually looks fairly intimidating for away fans in that.
I didn't realise how close in that corner the fans were
Black nails matterStewards this season have been pretty hot on it in 16/15, during the game. But they all flood pitch side near the end leaving it for a free for all. Mine is an aisle seat and my foot was being danced on it seemed. My nail has gone black
Especially after hearing Stoke fans singing "two nill and you fucked it up" just minutes before!Anyone else watched it a hundred times already?
It was football poetry, the sound of the ball hitting the back of the net, the eruption of noise, the absolute carnage in the stands, the scenes on the touchline, the sea of sky blue, against the backdrop of Robins return
For me it's absolute football heritage

Saddest thing in that clip is the grown men not celebrating with each or other city fans as they are too busy giving V’s to the Stoke fans.

I mean I know it happens and it doesn’t really bother me but my first thought when we score isn’t to goad the opposition fans…even on occasions I’ve sat near them.Saddest thing in that clip is the grown men not celebrating with each or other city fans as they are too busy giving V’s to the Stoke fans.

For clarification, I believe I am a ‘grown man’.
It wouldn’t have just been for the goal either. People will go to games and concentrate on opponent fans for most if not the duration. It’s so, so sad and I actually pity them.
What do you expect? Stoke fans had been giving it the big one since pulling it back to all square!Saddest thing in that clip is the grown men not celebrating with each or other city fans as they are too busy giving V’s to the Stoke fans.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe...injury time goals from Viktor Gyokeres, Hadji Wright and Bobby Thomas.
Fabio Tavares scoring in the 98th minute against Preston North End.
All these moments would have been lost, if I'd left early so i could get out of the car park first, like tears on rain.
And you can add the Victor Torp goal in the semi-final at Wembley, as far as I'm concerned we won that game.

I'll go to the grave telling anyone who will listen we won that game
Yeah, couldn't agree more. It's mad. If you are going to give any v signs and wanker gestures, why not at least do it after celebrating?Saddest thing in that clip is the grown men not celebrating with each or other city fans as they are too busy giving V’s to the Stoke fans.
I always find this incredibly strange. The weirdest one for me was when Wilson scored that absolutely vital goal at Blackburn, runs over to celebrate with our fans who run straight past him to have a go at the Blackburn fans.Saddest thing in that clip is the grown men not celebrating with each or other city fans as they are too busy giving V’s to the Stoke fans.
I remember going to see us away at West Ham one time and so many West Ham fans were just facing us on sideways the entire game and never once were looking towards to pitch. It was so odd.
