They absolutely can, they haven’t looked as terrible as you’d think they would. Drew with Tottenham and could’ve won, should’ve knicked a draw with Villa.Does anyone foresee Leicester actually avoiding relegation this upcoming season anyhow? Regardless of this appeal?
I’m sure we’d all be gutted watching us beat Sevilla and watching Liam Kitching lifting the Premier league title.
Ah. I hadn't really followed PL since early 2000's. Just looked at the table after 3 games and does look like at least for now Everton and Wolves are shipping loads of goals. Did Leicester sign anyone special? Didn't they lose DH or am I mistaken? They absolutely can, they haven’t looked as terrible as you’d think they would. Depending on other teams getting point deductions, There are at least 3 teams who could be worse than Leicester this season, especially if they can strengthen in January unimpeded by this FFP/PSR stuff.
You said “I genuinely wonder how many of our fans would be comfortable had it have been us.”again, going to absolute extremes to try and prove a point.
Yeah Dewsbury-Hall went to Chelsea but was their only big departure, they spent about £70+ million and signed some decent players like Skipp, Edouard and Ayew to add to what was already a relegation battle quality team they came up with.Ah. that’s kind of the point being made
You said “I genuinely wonder how many of our fans would be comfortable had it have been us.”
the answer if we get around some poorly written arbitrary rules designed to keep the big clubs on top and win a league title then yes - I’d be comfortable with it
im talking about the championship which you have described in glowing terms
In and out with no penalty then, no debts and start again. Could have had our own Milan Mandaric buy us for £4m as well. hahahhahaSo would I. That clown McGinnity should have put us into admin as Leicester did - it destroyed us
If you've been listening to that excuse for a broadcaster you've only got yourself to blame.
Piss for idiots.
Depends on the way you wish to restrict. If it’s based on revenue - we’ll never be able to compete. The issues surrounding FFP and PL parachute payments needs reviewing urgently.
If you’re a free marketer then the scrapping of any restrictions on spending makes sense.
If you want to provide equality of opportunity, then you’ll favour restrictions on spending to exist .
The current situation is a mess with the spending rules favouring 6 clubs and those clubs yo-yoing between PL & Championship.
I would favour a scrapping of parachute payments & a single tv deal covering PL & EFL with revenue split 50% to PL , 30% to Championship, 15% L1 & 5% to L2.
As in it should be scot free not spot free
Honestly mate it has been.
PL win, FA Cup win, CL quarter finals - never in our wildest dreams!
And then getting relegated on purpose just to win another trophy and beat the rules.
Super stuff
Vichai paid that debt years ago. How much have your owners given to the local hospital over the last 10 years. With all this money they keep fraudulently getting you would think a sorry payment for the ambulance/ st John's wouldn't go amiss
Course he didVichai paid that debt years ago. How much have your owners given to the local hospital over the last 10 years.
What I said was “truer to what going to football was supposed to be”, that’s not ‘glowing terms’, but I guess that’s just you with your repetitive lies about what people have actually said once again.
Starts at the top and filters down. Welcoming Abramovich in with open arms is whatdunnitIts not though is it? In many ways its worse as clubs are massively over spending with minimised additional revenues
We sold Maddison on the cheap to try and meet the rules. If we had waited another couple of weeks then we’d have got more for him. Barnes and Dewsbury Hall both went for less than they were worth.Forest were penalised because of timing not cheating, in fact the very opposite to Incester. If they'd sold Brennan Johnson two weeks earlier they'd have met the rules but because they wanted a fair price for their asset they were punished. Really harsh as Spurs knew that and why they tried to get him on the cheap initially.
Just fk off and snivel on your own forum you inbred little rat c**tWe sold Maddison on the cheap to try and meet the rules. If we had waited another couple of weeks then we’d have got more for him. Barnes and Dewsbury Hall both went for less than they were worth.
If you want to kick off it should be at the rules that are in place to protect the big six.
You could have a go at Everton who should have been deducted points the season they overspent which would have seen them down and us stay up.
We missed out twice on CL football by coming 5th. Had Man City been charged earlier …….
We have had some breaks with decisions over the years but we weren’t in a position for promotion by cheating when we went bankrupt. We were more than ten points clear so if the deduction had existed we would still have gone up.
Had you been anywhere near the top of a table at a similar time then perhaps you’d have a history of winning things like us.
You’ve just decided that even though you, allegedly, don’t care about us that you’ll sit and be jealous and snipe rather than realise who the true villains are.
Nice to see there are still some decent posters on here.
I think most football fans would agree with this but the PL would never vote for it and viewing figures for Leicester v Wolves, although poor, are still considerably higher than Doncaster v Orient. It’s the premier that brings in the money. The issues surrounding FFP and PL parachute payments needs reviewing urgently.

I'd take relegation to the Conference North over being from IncesterPrime example of jealous diagonal who is just bitter and lashes out.
Don’t suppose your club has won anything apart from the JPT during your time.
Each to their own. As I’ve said here, if we whored out to a foreign tycoon who then proceeded to use the club as a marketing gimmick, my interest in it would drop considerably. Not many would agree, grantedPrime example of jealous diagonal who is just bitter and lashes out.

Out of interest do we have people going onto your site as often as some of you come on here?We sold Maddison on the cheap to try and meet the rules. If we had waited another couple of weeks then we’d have got more for him. Barnes and Dewsbury Hall both went for less than they were worth.

Cheated by not paying debts with administration in 2002
Cheated to get promotion in 2013/2014 - Leicester City to pay Football League £3.1m to settle Financial Fair Play dispute
And carried on cheating in the Premier League
I’d happily see that as well.I'd take relegation to the Conference North over being from Incester

We don’t know who the money man behind Doug is 2bhYou ‘whored out’ to SISU and that probably had a lot of foreign tycoon money involved.
Easy to make these claims but would any of you seriously walk away?
lot of bitterness and jealousy on here - not one of you would be bothered if we’d have done this.
FFP is horseshit and should be dropped. Only have to go back a few years back when technically we should have been kicked out the league for not having a home ground.
Remember how we took the piss out of Walsall when we played at Northampton but had Callum Wilson and Leon Clarke up front - they were arguing how we were passing FFP with crowds of 1k
It went to a league vote on whether to remove us. Whilst in Northampton there was a rule we had to be a certain mileage form the city centreHow should we "technically have been kicked out of the league" - we had a ground to play in, what advantage did we gain from that?
Callum Wilson was our own academy product most probably on a few hundred quid a week, and we had to sell Leon Clarke in January. Again, what advantage did we gain from this?
Now that’s funnyJust fk off and snivel on your own forum you inbred little rat c**t
