They're trying it on m8. Unless you complete a claim form you ain't made a claim surely?Insurance companies. We have never claimed on our house insurance in over 20 years but earlier this year my wife lost a diamond out of one of her rings so I called them to ask if it was covered. The guy knew straightaway that it wasn't covered and checked the policy to make sure and confirmed it to me. Fast forward 6 months and on our renewal we now have 0 years NCB!!
Like 5live at Wimbledon on Day1. One presenter saying everyone should come for the fantastic experience. She applauded the set-up. 'Cannot believe you don't even have to queue at the ladies toilets (not that I ever do, anywhere!) here'. Almost immediately people from the scummy seats text in claiming 1/2-3/4hr queue down there lolUpper middle class journalists obsessed with upper middle class pursuits shocker.
f_Mz will be after you now. Where is the 'am' in that???Will they cover the semi as I stuck in France waiting for the frogs to let me on the Chunnel - want the original ticket price again to bring it forwards - fuckers
This has caused us major headaches but is now resolved as 6 months on from the initial phone call they have now accepted that the ring is covered under accidental damage and it will be fixed even though our insurance had run out. The problem we had was that they had put on our records in a database that all insurance companies use that we had a claim for accidental damage with a payout of £0 and some insurance companies don't recognise it as a claim when there is no payout, if what we put as our claims history didn't match the database we could have our insurance subsequently cancelled. They agreed to a claim on the day I was taking out new insurance and I had to speak to our new insurance company saying we have a claim from January that has only started to go through today but we don't know how much it is going to be settled for and they were fine using an estimate for the repair that we had from January. The whole thing is now in the hands of the financial ombudsman. They're trying it on m8. Unless you complete a claim form you ain't made a claim surely?

People who want to overtake you and sit right up your arse half way over the white line ready for a gap in the oncoming traffic but really want you to drive faster, or so it feels .
Never go to Italy ! they do this as natural behaviourSlow down to a nice slow pace and then just drift to the other lane when theres a space so they cant overtake.

People who get to work an hour and a half early every day but make a point of telling everybody they haven't started yet if a phone rings or somebody asks them something.
What's the point?
Really strange anyway, then just makes a point that they haven't started so refuses to do anything.Just people that get to work an hour and a half early. Weirdos.
Even if they get there early & DO something - they usually make sure everyone knows about it...like they expect some kind of badge of honour, a bigger pay rise, a promotion or extra respect for being a fuckwit driving down their own hourly rate & letting work take over their social lives!Just people that get to work an hour and a half early. Weirdos.
People who can't be arsed to look after their dog. One got into my back garden yesterday and killed my cat. It took my neighbour pulling at the dog and me kicking it in the face for it to let the cat go and even then it took a lot of hefty boots. I've never seen such brute force, if it had gone into a garden with a kid playing it would have killed them without a doubt.
Shit, sorry to hear that
Have you reported it?
Yeah, called 101. Police were very good and pointed out that now it's definitely got the taste for blood then children are at danger.
I just can't believe the force of the thing, absolutely brutal. Poor cat hung on for 10 minutes slowly dying from shock. I'm not really a cat person but it was horrible to see.
I don't really like cats but anything like that is horrible.
Will they send an inspector round? Might be worth a call to the RSCPA if it isn't being looked after too.
Police said they would send a dog team around to see if they can track it down. I've no idea who the owners are, it didn't have a collar but was in tip top shape so definitely belongs to someone. I did try RSPCA yesterday but the 3 or 4 numbers we called all had exceptionally high use and we couldn't get through. The dog will certainly be noticeable if spotted as the cat clawed one of its ears to pieces.

Sorry to hear about your cat, poor thing.
I definitely think that mandatory licensing is required for owning a dog, they are potentially a lethal weapon. All dogs should be micro-chipped and traceable.
Agree with chipping and maybe even GPS once technology allows, I thought that was the law now though to have them chipped?
Whether they are kept up to date is another thing.
Have no issues with some sort of basic checks before being able to own one, not sure how enforceable it is though.
Like everything else it costs money but it's for the wellbeing of both the public and animals. I hate the Tories' (and Labour previously) reliance on charities like the RSPCA, these are important services which should get public funding.
