I still can’t fathom to this day how cyclists are allowed on the road without a helmet. And the other side of that arguement is the complete lack of respect of some cyclists in observing the Highway Code.
Failing to stop at traffic lights, cycling in the wrong direction down one way streets, mounting pavements, the list is endless.
Notice I said SOME cyclists, not all.
ALL cyclists imo should have to wear high viz clothing, front and rear lights should be lit whilst cycling day or night and a bell mandatory, no exceptions.

I’ve recently given up because I can’t be arsed anymore but I was cycling to work and back and at least once a week some gobshite would shout out of the passenger window of a car to get off the road. Cyclists can’t win. Although I agree with your comments about cycling on the path when there’s a cycle lane available.Adult cyclists who ride along the pavement when there’s a road or cycle lane available are arseholes, especially those who then expect pedestrians to move out their away.
They're entitled to be on the road as much as a car is TBFCyclists cycling on a road at a lazy, leisurely pace and seriously congesting the road.

I can’t disagree with the entitlement.
It’s nut jobs with their 15 minute city WEF conspiracy theories.Don’t see why cars should be priority everywhere TBH. Yes there should be proper cycling infrastructure (though the same people whinge about that), but there isn’t. Roads aren’t just for cars, we have horses cyclists all sorts down round by us. The idea you should be able to drive too speed everywhere cos you’re in a car is just nuts. Do you sprint through town shooting at mums with pushchairs to get our your way too?
Sorry mate, didn't mean to upset you. It worked though, the dog's bollocks will be in action later!A guy in a Porsche with the roof down holding up 2 lanes of traffic by driving slowly next to a VW Polo, clearly trying to get the girl driving's number/socials. Was also swerving onto the other side of the road as was obviously doing all this on his phone. In a vest, slicked back hair clearly thinks he's the dog's bollocks.
You're going to be licking your own testicles?Sorry mate, didn't mean to upset you. It worked though, the dog's bollocks will be in action later!
It's a nightmare full stop. Pedestrian crossings next to roundabouts are based enough at the best of times, but when in a place full of confused ill people trying to find a parking space...The drop off point at Walsgrave hospital. More specifically the people getting off the buses and crossing the road away from the pedestrian crossings. They just walk wherever they want with a total disregard for the specific crossings being in place.

Has anyone explained the rise in type 1 diabetes yet?I don’t know if this amuses me more than it annoys but people who spent the entire pandemic insisting that they were just declaring any death as a covid death quickly morphed into blaming sudden deaths on the vaccine. For example I have a mate who as soon as the death of Cedric Roussel was announced he quickly blamed the vaccine. I just heard Edwin Van Der Sar is in hospital with a bleed on the brain and my first thought is I’m expecting a text from my mate blaming the vaccine.
This is what I mean. There’s quite possibly a link to Covid but not necessarily the vaccine. The first fact you have to consider is that the numbers started going up from the start of the pandemic not from the start of the vaccine rollout. Up 14% in the first year of the pandemic alone. You then have to consider the age group where the rise is prevalent and it’s childhood, an age group that isn’t as vaccinated as other age groups but were more likely to catch it, spread it and be asymptomatic. All details the antivaxxers leave out and probably deliberately. It’s also not the only childhood illness that has saw rising cases in children who were initially asymptomatic and unvaccinated, PIMs and MISc are 2 I remember reading about in the early days of the pandemic.Has anyone explained the rise in type 1 diabetes yet?
I have a lot to complaint about re melbournes traffic and road system but their cycling infrastructure is fantastic. Also basically every office building has “end of trip” facilities…showers lockers and secure bike storage areas.Don’t see why cars should be priority everywhere TBH. Yes there should be proper cycling infrastructure (though the same people whinge about that), but there isn’t. Roads aren’t just for cars, we have horses cyclists all sorts down round by us. That happens everywhere. For example I'll find an isolated spot in a supermarket where I can blow my nose and someone will invariably come and stand right next to me.Fucking carousels at airports baggage claim. I’ll go and find a spot somewhere about half way round deliberately away from the big crowd of people desperate to grab their bag as soon as it’s in sight, and inevitably every single time some prick comes and stands right next to me.
It’s worse when you want to let out a discreet fartThat happens everywhere. For example I'll find an isolated spot in a supermarket where I can blow my nose and someone will invariably come and stand right next to me.
You could do a whole series on various behaviours exhibited when using an aeroplaneWhile we’re on air travel - pricks who stand up as soon as the plane lands and form a queue in the aisle. What happened to letting people out row by row?? Now everyone’s a c**t and just queues up and doesn’t let anyone out of their seat

I’m going to start a running list. So far I think I’ve got just in this thread:You could do a whole series on various behaviours exhibited when using an aeroplane

people seemingly unable to hold a piss for even an hour into a flight (why on earth you’re making me get up and hour into a flight unless you’re 80 years old)
I stand up as soon as the plane lands but I always make sure I sit in the first few rows and have no faith in people being able to do the complex task of removing a bag from the overhead locker quickly. To be fair I don’t like flying so will be 4 pints deep at this stage. I’ll definitely be needing a piss.
I also stand up as soon as the opportunity arises as sitting down for too long hurts my leg and I need to stretch it.
Hope this is ok x
