What a great life you have Houch where you live sounds beautiful. Just to walk to the beach daily and not be deafened by crap music !I'm in beautiful Bell Green where a daily walk is through the shopping centre to be confronted by beggars and scroungers, and that's just the shopkeepers !.........er .................. nope. Can't think of anything bad at all. I love summer. Can't get enough of it! Down to the beach most days, or fishing off my local pier. Walking round in shorts all day. I live in a cul-de-sac which is pretty much all old buggers like me, so no loud music. Love Wimbledon (but can't stand cricket!). Yep. I love summer! And the new footy season starts in summer. Can't wait!

Only last night a group of coloured lads chased a white lad and he came back armed with a baseball bat but they'd long gone.Bet you miss all that ?
I spent my last 15 years in Cov living in Tile Hill. Gangs of knuckle-dragging failed abortions roaming the streets and hanging around the shops in Jardine Crescent. Lovely. Arseholes on mini motor-bikes racing through the woods, drugs on every street corner. Jeez! I miss all that!
Before I moved to Tile Hill, I spent from 1986 - 1993 living on Manor Farm Estate - Hornsey Close off Hermes Crescent. I moved to Tile Hill to escape the "Farm". I used to go out with a pick axe stave to confront the arseholes. I couldn't give to shits about them. I got myself a bit of a reputation in those days!
Now I'm really settled down here and don't miss Cov in the slightest. I was up there for a couple of days about 4 weeks ago. I couldn't wait to get out of the place! Still, it's my home city and I love my club!
Otis will be calling the Samaratans having read that.

You must have drank in the Shire Horse then ? I got threatened one night by a bloke armed with a pick axe stave,I only asked him for a light ! Joking apart there's some great people here in Bell Green pity there's a few idiots to ruin it.In it funny though Houch we as Coventrians can slag our city off,but are quick to defend it if an outsider tries the same ? Only ever went in the Shire once or twice BBR. I used to use the Walsgrave club a lot. Mind you, I also worked behind the bar at the Live & Let Live in 1971. Was that the old Walsgrave club or the new one ? I was brought up in Walsgrave on Woodway Lane my spiritual home you could say.I remember you mentioning the Livvy on here before,it's gone now as you would know.In fact walked through Wood End this morning and it's being redeveloped, massive housing scheme going on.Only ever went in the Shire once or twice BBR. Hay fever!
Generally love summer, hate the winter. All the best sports are in the winter but so is all the bad weather and flu bugs etc and I get fed up of the perpetual dark in this dismal part of the world.
The summer in the UK is shite.
I don't hate winter. I love nice, crisp mornings with the weak sun shining. Or having a good snow.
What I can't stand is our normal "winter" of 5+ months of drizzle. Can't stand the rain.
Please elaborate?
You're getting old mate!Don't mind the summer but just because the sun is shining that doesn't mean everything is enjoyable does it ? Here's a few things that annoy me. Music blasting out at all hours with windows wide open and it's never music you like. Too hot to sleep. Bloody flies buzzing about and weird insects trying to bite you.Working outside when it's really hot. And trying to find tennis and cricket interesting when both are boring.
Anymore ?
A bit harsh perhaps? What the fuck are you banging on about? Do us a favour - slip into something more comfortable. Like a coma!
Then you really are trendyI drink them with ice all year round.

You don't "have to"...unless you are weakHaving to buy the kids teacher, teaching assistants, dinner ladies presents for the end of the year utter waste of time in my opinion
Get a grip! Send her to the kitchen. It was the wife who bought them bazza
Being rewarded for doing their job in my opinion
