When he went round their keeper he kept his eye on the ball, I don't think he expected the 2 defenders to get back,He was lucky with his final shot today. But he more than deserves it.

Lower level but McGoldrick was a lot more “smoother”, half the time I don’t think even Gyokeres himself knows what he’s doing with it!
I agree. The way he moves with the ball shrugging off defenders is very reminiscent of Adebola at the peak of his powers. The finish even reminded me of Adebola.Think he's a lot more like Adebola in more ways than one

Until the last few games, where you could see it. That Swansea loan really took it out of him. Good for us though!He tried to play exactly like this on his loan period, but his struggle at Swansea then coming here slightly unfit, he obviously had something but was struggling to bring it to the fore.
