Nick,

Any news on the amount of users on this site compared to this time last year ?

When are the accounts published ?, ;)

must be a good year for skybluestalk.... certainly seems more traffic on here than this time last year ?

Is this actaully the biggest Cov forum out there now ?

Definitely is. I've been on GMK for about 4/5 years. Signed up here the day Sisu/Ray Ranson took over. There wasn't many posts at all on here then. Now GMK is full of WUMS and people who sneak over hear and giggle about it over there, I'm fully camping here.

Seems like theres a couple of new users daily, I think the only other Cov city site out there is GMK

GMK Active users: 18 online, Active guests 26 (Based on the number of users active in the last 15 minutes.)

SBT There are currently 257 users online. 44 members and 213 guests
Most users ever online was 932, 17-04-2012 at 09:58 PM.

Nick has done a great job of this site, also search engines will direct City fans and other teams fans here (Like the Wrexham fans that joined the other night to give details) because it's always at the top of the list. :)

Allot of quality posters on here, it's what keeps people reading, wouldn't be a site without everyone contributing.

Hopefully allot of people are recommending it to friends/family, there was an idea to buy one of the advertisement boards at the Ricoh to advertise SBT but I think Nick needed people to chip in for that.

have you asked the club ?

surely they might be able to do something around the price, as its a fan based initiative after all ?

I know Nick suggested it on here, I though it was a brilliant idea, not sure if the club would get involved but guess someone asking wouldn't do any harm. :)

I'm not sure how much it will cost to advertise at the Ricoh this season (lower league, less TV deals, smaller crowds) but if enough people on here where willing to help Nick cover the costs I'm sure he'd get it sorted.

I'm part of the Supporters Consultative Group - we're meeting in a couple of weeks. Not sure who'll be there from the club, last time it was Dan Walker from the Ticket Office, time before that was Tim Fisher, but there is always someone from the club.

I could always bring it up at a meeting and see what the club think about it? Perhaps if the Mods message me direct so i can find out more about what you want and then see what the reaction is at the meeting?

It would be down the administrator Nick, he recommended this last season, I've just brought it back up to see if it would gain any interest, if Nick is still interested in the idea I'm sure he will reply on this thread or contact you kingharvest.

I do remember the good old days ISB, 30 mins waiting for a reply on posts, I think there where about 10-12 of us active at the time and GMK was booming, now it's the other way round! :)

I just had a quick check, there were 1773 signups in the last 12 months.

It is growing all of the time and is turning out great :)

There was talk of advertising at the Ricoh but I'd have no idea how to do about it. L Brody put me in touch with somebody a year or so ago but it never really went very far as I had to chase them and couldn't be bothered chasing people to give them money!

If you ask the club, effectively you are asking Sisu. Since when have they been interested in the fans' wishes?

It really all kicked off (if I'm not mistaken) when GMK had that terrible problem with their site. First it lost the Murdoch attachment, then it was down, it was slow, off line for days, changed servers, got worse, it wouldn't load and to top that people started getting personal and the post were attcking by nature. When suggestions to help were seen as an afront by them and some posters (me and I'm sure others) found the attitude by those that ran things there was rather ungrateful after long loyalties, it was time to swing on over and take a look. The 'family' that was GMK has been callapsing ever since. I know some of you still use GMK too but you know it's best over here and there are some great posters which helps keep up a high level of interest. I've noticed a smattering of nonsense stuff now appearing but hey we are a lot bigger so guess we will take that as part of being number one! Respect is important if you want longevity. Well done Nick, always helpful and the moderators. Helpful and not 'power' crazy. :)If you've got something good, look after it and it will last a long time.

To add, what I love best about the site is the mobile page.
I almost prefer it to the normal site! Its quick and being a blackberry user I'm quicker typing on my phone, which makes it far easier!

Nick,
Is there anyway of adding the 'likes' onto the mobile site?
