You seem to have forgotten that these same players just achieved 'back to back' away wins at Chesterfield & Fleetwood!

I don't normally react to you RFC as i think you are a true WUM,, but you are a a gift that keeps on giving..
This site would be a lot more boring without you, saying that....
As I watched that spineless display last week I am really concerned as to our plight this is the weakest and most talentless squad of players I have ever witnessed here apart from young Ward, yet to prove himself one way or another I can't see one player who would seriously have a realistic chance of commanding a first team spot with any of the clubs in our division, how sad is that. Apart from lack of talent this is easily the weakest squad in terms of muscle I have ever seen here not one who i would trust to putting their foot in where it might hurt, not one with that extra bit of skill to make something out of nothing and all that armed with short term contracts or on a loan due to run out in May, hardly the recipe for loyalty or success, the one saving grace is we have still to play a number of teams in and around us I am just hoping they are as bad as we are
I hope you're not one of the fans that constantly criticized Micky Doyle. A doyle or two would improve this squad right now.

Fuck it. I'm going to agree with RFC.
We always say this when we're doing shit, then those same players will have a purple patch and be awesome and everyone will be building their teams around them. Fans are far too extreme about player ability and give far too little credence to the variety of performances on player can put in for a variety of reasons, none to do with "ability". The difference between a world beater and carpet beater is often just playing in a well organised team or a bit of confidence.
I didn't go Saturday unfortunately, but am going to the next game, but it seems to me like it was classic City. Couple of wins, confidence comes back, turns into overconfidence at home and as soon as that breaks fans and players alike go "here we go again" and we're shit. Both fans and players need a bit of resilience if we aren't to let every set back become a disaster and every couple of wins become a promotion push.
*Insert Kipling quote here*
Never criticised Mickey Doyle in fact he is just what we could do with now
