It does all fit in place.
I wonder if there was any promise of fan ownership involved???
I wonder who these consortiums are?
If there's anyone serious about taking us over the best way to get the fans onside is make it public, show they are serious and have a plan that could see the club be successful. There's been too much of we know someone who will take us over through recent years.

We accuse sisu of being secretive and non-communicating. Interesting that we shall support a potential owner who won't relieve his identity, his motives or his plans.
Hoffman & Elliott most likely at it again.
Hoffman is a fan ...
If there is a red card on the seat I'll hold it up when everybody else does as it is hardly going to break my back is it. No pitch invasions or anything, I will have a 5 year old with me and unlike the absolute prick behind us the other week who was teaching his kid how to say the C word, I'm not really into anything too drastic.
I taught my little lad the four letter C word. He now shouts City as loud as he can.
My lad too. I'm so ashamed!
2) a bid hasn't been made. the question there has to be why not, if anyone seriously wanted to take the club over wouldn't they put a bid in?
I'm not. Out of my lads the eldest two support Motherwell and Grimsby. The other one doesn't like football. Makes our club look like a good decision

MY lad has set phrases, usually "Come on City!", "Forward" and "Rubbish".
So here we go again...more protest aimed at our football club. You may say SISU but the protest will be seen my many as just fans being unhappy at how the club is currently situated.
At a time when SISU have stated they will inform more and set out a decent plan for the club you rather believe we are buyable by other investors who will magically make everything OK again?
You are all a bunch of dreamers.
We are on a decent sequence of results and we need to concentrate on the positives and get behind the team now and try to effect what happens on the pitch by doing so. Then and only then when we improve consistently and achieve success i.e. a promotion, will we be a buyable club again.
For now I'm just glad we still have a football club to watch quite frankly. I'm a SISU detractor myself but I have to still be grateful they have not thrown in the towel. They are doing what any other owner would try and do right now to make us viable and eventually sellable, so what's your problem? No amount of protest against them will change their needed plan to the exit door when they are able.
The council undoubtedly shit on them and consequently our football club. SISU's backs are to the wall and protest will not help anyone.
Having a dialogue with them would be a far better idea than a dumb protest that simply adds to the sense of darkness over our club.
So are you saying that no protests whatsoever should be aimed at SISU as it is aimed at our club?
I suppose that we should let SISU do whatever they like and just take it on the chin. They have previously said that they will inform us more on what is going on. Nothing come from it last time.
CCC shit on SISU? Our football clubs future maybe. But SISU brought most of it upon themselves.
Have a dialogue with them? So why would this suddenly work after 7 years of getting ignored?
But that's one of the issues isn't it? You are speaking in the past tense and relating it all to the future. When does this attitude stop and we start believing we can get better under SISU as much as any other potential ghost owners? We need to be realistic.
What would you have SISU do exactly given the position they are in?
Who wrote that, Nick? Another blinkered protest. Not a word about Wasps and their relentless emblazoning of rugby club logos and how they got there.

Lets see if the likes of you and Nick can actually do what I have highlighted. I remember you's harping on about people constantly talking about Sisu (at least they own us so we should be talking about them).
As I asked Astute, what change do you want SISU to do that makes you happier and believe things as a consequence of such change things will be much better?
I think they are fully entitled to bring legal action over what was a debateable state aid of ACL. Did you want them to continue paying 1.2m a year in rent for a pitch one a fortnight? Just what is it you would do if you were the owner of our football club?
It's ok though, me and Torchy didn't have a spine or morals. It was only the people who boycotted sixfields who had a spine or morals so I will leave that to them as their spine and morals are now shining through (apart from a selection of strong spined people with morals who have been consistent)
Pretty sure 99% of people don't have an issue with Wasps as a club, moreso the city fans with the morals that loved to tell everybody about them who are now going mad for Wasps

Glad you got your protective paragraph in at the end to remind us all you're joking, it seems to be used quite a lot on this thread.
I think most people you refer to seemed to say so what if you go to sixfields (I certainly did) but you seem to have a bee in your little hat about sixfields and going, so not sure why you keep bringing it back to that but seem happy for people to get slated on here who go, there have been plenty of posts calling people hypocrite, is that just a posh word for scab? oh shit, here you go

Would they have still been paying that if they would have saw through the deal that was brokered before they decided to leave?
No, it is just me saying that it is not EVERY person who was against clubs being moving who is now going to Wasps games as it isn't everybody is it?
Just as it wasn't EVERY person who was against City moving to Northampton or even out of Coventry all together.
Funny that the same people now scream and shout about the Wasps relocating
